It is an old fish camp with white linens, a world class wine list, and friendly service. Daily Chef specials are a "must try" with great local flavor, live piano music on weekends, families welcome, and reservations recommended. “Fresh Gulf Seafood daily at Perdido Key”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

This local's favorite was recommended by the Visitor's Center at Perdido Key. It's our new favorite! Ate here twice and between all of us, we had 8 different entrees and all the food was excellent. You can view the menu on their website. We ordered the catch of the day both grilled and blackened, and the filet was excellent too. Learned about the local fish they caught each day! Very close to the beach at Perdido Key and located under the overpass. Don't skip this one based on the outside of the restaurant being not much to look at. We've been missing this gem for years because of that. The service is very, very friendly and knowledgeable. It is the best fresh seafood in Perdido Key. We went early (around 5) as they get busy every night. There is a little outdoor deck you can have cocktails on if you need to wait for a table. They do take reservations. Skip the frozen and "flown in fish" at other restaurants, get the fresh seafood while you can at the beach! Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised!

“Not at their prime...”
Reviewed March 25, 2014 via mobile

Every year we go to the beach and can't wait for our lunch/dinner trip to Fisherman's Corner! We have always had nothing short of the best there and it's our all time favorite. However, we went today for lunch all to find out they are out of oysters, shrimp, crawfish and not to mention 3+ dishes on the menu.. The waitress seemed to not be knowledgeable of anything that was going on and rudely judged us when we asked for a delicious special entree we always order. Our appetizer was fried calamari, it was great as always. It took forever for our food once we ordered though, there were only two other parties there at the time. Once our entrees arrived the servings were way too big and quite frankly tasteless. We got to-go boxes because we felt urged to leave by our waitress. My brother asked for fried cheesecake and our waitress told him they might not have it, but if they do it's cold on the inside of the dessert anyway and he wouldn't want it. Never in my life have I seen an employee downgrade a menu on the item so bluntly and rush customers out as quickly as possible. Our experience was overall sketchy and uncomfortable. We sat outside and kept hitting the tables around us in our chairs. There was no room for customers or employees to walk around without a great deal of discomfort and collision. We anticipated so much more from our favorite restaurant on vacation, but after today's experience I'm not so sure we'll come back..

The owners and I would like to extend our apologies to you and your family for your disappointment during a recent visit to Fisherman's Corner Restaurant. We have very high standards for the food that we serve and our chefs rely upon the highest quality ingredients in order to meet them. Due to harsh winter conditions, the quantity of fresh Gulf seafood and local produce has been limited. We would sooner temporarily remove an item from our menu than compromise on quality. Therefore, despite our best efforts not to disappoint, we inadvertently have. We appreciate your comments and will take necessary measures to improve where improvement is needed. We strive to be the best restaurant we can be and hope that you will return.

“Server really saved the day!”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We dined here last week. We heard of the place through another person on vacation who stumbled upon the place. When our server (Faith) approached, she was very pleasant and likable. She gave us a brief synopsis of the place and the history behind the place. She then started letting us in on the few things they were out of. Unfortunately, the list was fairly long but she said she didn't want us to get our hearts set on something that she didn't have. Well, the stuff they were out of was all the stuff we were interested in. Almost all white wine, shrimp and grits, gumbo, shrimp in general, and a few other things. She ended up recommending a few things that we ultimately ordered because we were bummed about not getting what we initially wanted. She was right! It was amazing! She really knew what she was talking about!!!! We did have one issue with our food. We peeked around the corner at her talking to a male about it (she said was her manager). I saw him shaking his head no and didn't seem too phased at what she was saying. She then came over and offered us a delicious bread pudding although I believe she was trying to get her manager to take that dish off completely. Long story short, FAITH WAS AMAZING! Although they were extremely busy she was the best waitress we've ever had. We will always ask for her when we come in. The experience would've been far worse if it wasn't for her!
