Description: Fisherman's Corner is not much to look at from the outside but the food is fabulous and created by our chefs using only fresh Gulf seafood and the highest quality ingredients. It is an old fish camp with white linens, a world class wine list, and friendly service. Daily Chef specials are a "must try" with great local flavor, live piano music on weekends, families welcome, and reservations recommended. Open and serving a special holiday menu on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve! Make your reservations today!

We live across the "ditch" (intracoastal waterway) from this restaurant and have eaten here many times since they opened (2011?). They opened after the oil spill, a time of low tourism and built a thriving very popular restaurant.
1. Make a reservation if you want to be seated sooner than later.
2. Try it at an off time, early diner, late lunch and such
3. My husband only eats the Wat Da Burger, now called "The Corner" Special Burger: 10 ounce ground Black Angus Chuck burger topped with a fried egg and pastrami, served between two grilled cheese sandwiches. $12 served with fries!
4. I eat the specials or the fried green tomatoes & cajun mac n cheese
5. Carry outs accepted until 5 pm and then the kitchen will only concentrate on guests in the restaurant.

The biggest tip I can give you is: if you want to eat here and it is crowded/long wait go a couple more miles down to JW Finz (in Zeke's marina) which is their second restaurant. They serve some of the same offerings and many different ones. Same local owners, same real food.
Visit our beaches and please leave nothing but footprints.

Thank you for taking time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. The owners of Fisherman's Corner strive to the best restaurant in Pensacola and it is only with loyal customers like you that we will succeed. Thank you also for recommending our Orange Beach restaurant; however we would like to inform you and others that you may advise that we have closed J.W. Finz for the winter season and look forward to serving Orange Beach again in Spring 2014.

We stumbled upon Fisherman's Corner while staying in Perdido Key during the month of September. It is a "hole in the wall" located next to the bridge that goes into Perdido Key from Pensacola area. I can say, without hesitation, that Fisherman's Corner serves the best food in the Pensacola/Perdido Key/Orange Beach area. We make it a point to have dinner there every time we are in the area. The food is sublime....from appetizers to entrees. I suggest you try the nightly specials. They are dependent on the day's catch and the chefs create each special that night. Our particular favorite was pecan-crusted snapper. Heavenly! There is an hour to 1 1/2 hour wait during the summer if you arrive during prime dinner time (7 or 8). Suggest you arrive around 5:30 to avoid the wait. You can also make reservations, but we never did. Your food is made to order, so don't expect quick service. It is well worth the wait, as food is piping hot and fresh when brought to your table. The staff is friendly and efficient. I can't brag about Fisherman's Corner enough. In fact, I hesitate writing this review because we want it all to ourselves!!

We were told this was the spot for gourmet food in Perdido. I ordered the special of the day which was a blackened fish salad in a tortilla style bowl. The fish was great, the salad average, the dressing not so much. The disappointing part was it was surrounded with tortilla from out of a bag and not fresh. The hole in the wall mexican restaurant down the street can make fresh chips but not this place?

We had the gumbo and a shrimp wrap at the Fisherman's Corner & Seafood Pub. The food was very good and the servers were also very attendant.

When you get tired of fried everything and bar food, put on a decent shirt and check out the Fisherman's Corner. Reservations are suggested, although we got lucky on a Thursday night and walked right in (the staff said that they were rarely this uncrowded). We had the Shrimp & Grits (love the unique presentation with the grits patty) and the Creole Shrimp & Crawfish Linguine (go for the spicy version, it's very well seasoned and not over the top hot). Service was excellent, food was delicious, and a really fun vibe. Non-descript and a little hard to find, but well worth searching it out!
