“Excellent introduction to Cuban food.”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Lots of choices-our waitress was wonderful and explained everything to us. We had a large group and they had no trouble seating us. Everyone found something good to ear.

“Great Cuban food with fun rambunctious atmosphere”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed our first Carreta's dining experience tonight. The stuffed plantains make a great appetizer and the fried yucca is a tasty treat (great sauce too!). I had the Charrusco steak with the chimi-churi sauce and I really enjoyed it. My wife had the Cuban Sampler plate and loved everything on the plate. The rest of our party enjoyed thier meals as well. And the Cuban flan for dessert was over-the-top tasty. Save room for it! The dining room is loud and rambunctious with everyone laughing, talking, and enjoying their meals. A fun dining experience.

“Somawhat good Cuban Food”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

This place has been around for a long time and has good food at a very decent price. The service is excellent, but the food at times can be overcooked thereby taking away from the flavoring. the protions are good size and if you get the right cook the day you show up you will love the food.

“Don't expect something special”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

Average dingy restaurant that really need a good cleaning if not a make over as it smells greasy and looks dirty. Saw insects on the wall as we entered and that is not a good thing. The Cuban food offered was just "OK", but not as well offered as from others in the area, like Padrino's just North of them. Good enough for a coffee and a sandwich when you are in the area, but would not go out of my way with the family at night.

“Great Cuban Meal”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Living in Fort Worth, Texas we don't have access to any "GOOD" Cuban restaurants. Fortunately we get to travel down to South Florida at least once a year. I always make it a point to go to this restaurant for a great meal on each trip. The management as well as the staff are all nice and helpful. The food is GREAT. I think anyone would be very happy with the experience of this place.
