After visiting pubs in Europe recently, my husband became interested in finding similar venues near home, so we visited this Pub while traveling on the east side of Florida. It's an attractive restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating in a very large mall. We thought we would have a couple beers and then go to another restaurant for dinner. We decided, instead, to have our "dinner" which turned out to be several appetizers at The Pub. Service by the kilt clad servers surprised me. I never saw that in London.
Our experiences with pubs in Europe was definitely different. There we ordered at the bar and food was delivered to our table. Table service is the norm at The Pembroke Pines Pub. It also seems to be a family place. Four or five families with very young children sat at the large table adjacent to our booth. That was also unexpected. Anyway, it all worked out well but was definitely an American style pub. Not a surprise to me.
