Days Inn Panama City Beach/Ocean Front
Ranked #25 of 48 Hotels in Panama City Beach

For the most part, we were pleased with this hotel. There were a few issues. Seating at the pool was limited, we actually went and bought chairs to bring to the pool. We tried the complimentary breakfast on the first morning, and there was plenty of cereal but no milk (ridiculous) and the donuts were stale. The other 2 mornings, we ate out. The beds were very firm and the bedding had seen better days. The pool was absolutely beautiful with it's waterfalls and grotto. Although the reason for having no chairs was that its pool is shared by the hotel next door. The tiki bar closed at 7 p.m. which was disappointing. There was a convenience store, a few eating places and a souvenir shop right across the street, which was a plus. There wasn't a full kitchenette, we had to use the bathroom sink to rinse bowls. We will search around and make comparisons before deciding whether to return to this hotel.

I stayed with my whole family - 10 people. We had two connecting rooms on 7th floor - rooms 725 and 726. Rooms were clean, tile floor could've been swept more often due to sand. Great view and rates! Pool area was very clean and nice. Elevator acted as if it were trying to break down and was dirty inside with no air. No ice on any floor. Would stay again. No problems except elevator!

We stayed there last summer for a week with 2 rooms . Money and medication where stolen from our room so the hotel manager invited us to try staying there again this summer. He did give us a discounted rate but had problems again this year. I had molded (what seemed to be puke) on my mattress. The hotel, rooms, elevators and breeze ways were dirty. Finally on the 4th day or our stay i called the front desk because our room had not been cleaned since we checked in. Before we left we did talk to the ass. manager and he said the manager would definitely be calling us. Today is 8-7-2007 still no call. They no another new croud will be there the next weekend so we really don't matter. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! We will not be back!!!!

PLUS..the pool area is great/great view /great location/great for springbreakers...
MINUS..one of if not the dirtiest hotels I have stayed in/expensive $210 a night, for this price I would expect a lot more comfort and a lot less dirt/ I was there with four kids of various ages and there was a few drunks wandering around the pool area with beer cans in their hands, these weren't young uns, they were middle aged parents..
OVERALL the kids loved it as they could fall out of bed onto the beach or the pool, not sure if we will go there again

We checked in on July 3 2007 about 10 p.m. We ran into some bad weather on the way down, so we were running late. I called the hotel to tell them we were running late, the desk clerk said fine and please be careful on the way down. When we arrived, the front desk help was very helpful with everything. The room was very clean, but with it being a holiday week, there were no towels in the room, we called down and within a matter of minute , towels were delivered to the room. Since there were four of us, towels, were neede quite often and every time we called for them the front desk was very quick to get them to the room. The pool was absoluetly beautiful. It was a little cool, but it was not misrepresented on the internet because it said cooled pool. the hotel was very clean, the pool was very clean. It was great. The only draw back was the tile floors, they were kind of gritty from the sand, but housekeeping did a great job and did every thing that was asked of them. I would definetely recommend this hotel, the rates were normal and the help there was exceptional. Had a great time, and will defintely return. Thanks Days Inn for a great vacation!!!!!!!

Our room was adequate. It was clean but our toilet kept breaking and maintenance would come and claim it to be fixed but it wasn't. There were tons of teenagers running around, shouting, and cursing. I would leave the TV on all night to avoid hearing the nonsense from the teenagers. I witnessed a knock down, drag out, bloody fight take place in the area near the elevators (right outside my room). There was blood everywhere. And the best part was that neither party was removed from the motel. Both parties were allowed to stay!!! I was not pleased with this fact. I could have overlooked it had they immediately removed both parties from the facility...
