We started out booking another condo in PBC and after researching decided to cancel and book at Sunrise Beach Resort with Hector and Traci Solis. We contacted them by phone through VRBO
#381912 or #34392 or 330978. They were very helpful and arranged reservations for our wedding party and family members. This was such a stressful time for us, hoping all the guest would be comfortable with clean comfortable beds. We were NOT disappointed at all! The home away from home was just that. Not only beautifully decorated but the beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. No one complained about the rooms at all. No maintenance issues like we had read so much about with other units.
The view is unbelievably beautiful and seeing dolphins almost every day was a bonus.
We had 3 condos one on 18th floor the other on the 22nd floor and ours being on 24. So the views with sunsets were awesome. Having beach chairs every day made it easy to sit on the beach out of the sun if desired.
We had a few changes and needed 2 condos for extra days and Hector worked that out for us quickly.
The location was perfect for our group since about 17 people had to fly in. Plenty of restaurants and shopping to walk to. Also Star Bucks about 1 block, Yeah!
Some of our guest mentioned they will definitely be going back and we will also.

Room tip: A good room is defendant upon the owners, Hector and Traci Solis make sure their condos are in tip top shape.

My (new) husband and I recently stayed at Sunrise Beach again for the 3rd time. We try to vacation in Panama City Beach Florida at least once a year. We book every year with Resort Condo Services, website is VisitPCB.com. We love them! Karen Jones and her husband offer the best prices we've ever seen for that area and they're for the really nice places. They are super friendly, professional, and helpful. We've never had any problems and are always very happy with our condo when we arrive. We got lucky and found them online some years ago and we are SOOO happy we did. We wont book with anyone but them anytime we go down there now!
Sunrise is a beautiful newer condo resort right on the beach. Parking is in parking garage on the bottom floors of the resort which is nice becuase you can take the elevator down and you are there, unlike some now that have parking across the street. Staff there are super friendly and helpful. All condo's have beach view and master bedrooms have their own door to balcony. It's also walking distance from Sharkey's, one of our favortie beach restaurants!

Room tip: All the condos are about the same. Obviously the higher up you are the better the view. The master bedrooms are the best in each condo because they have their own master bathroom, giant closet area, and sliding door onto the balcony facing the ocean!

My wife and I rented unit #1603 and really enjoyed our stay. Clean, well-decorated and in a great location - right on the beach, a mile from Pier Park and all those restaurants, clubs, movies, etc. You could cab it there for $10 if you're dressed up or walk and cab it home, whatever your mood.

It was Pirate Fest weekend so the mall was packed with folks, they had a parade and other festivities, great if you have kids. Ours are grown so we took a cab to Schooners on Saturday night and danced until midnight - the band "Brena" was excellent! it reminded us of Johnny's Hideaway in Atlanta, same vibe. Fun!

The only issue was the lady at the front desk for Resortquest, very rude! If they are not managing your unit do not ask them for anything, it will leave a bad impression which is sad for such an otherwise great complex.

The pool is on the 5th floor which we liked but is a little different from other places. You go down to the 1st floor of the parking deck and up a short ramp to the beach walkway. Does give you a little more peaceful atmosphere as people are not constantly walking by to and from the beach.

Loved it, we're looking to buy this fall and this is definitely a complex we'd consider!

Like many of you, after reading some of the reviews on Sunrise I was skeptical of staying at this resort. My first resort option was booked so I stayed here with my family. We had a party of seven in the 2 bedroom condo with a bunkbed room and I must say, we had plenty of space. We stayed in condo #1708 and the view was outstanding!!! The room was clean, spacious, and met all of our needs. We had to call maintenance once to fix a ceiling fan and they were prompt and courteous. That was the only problem we had at the resort the entire time! The teenagers enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the strip. They should work on their late night check-in process, it did not seem that secure to me. But other than that I have no complaints!

We booked our stay here for the week after Labor Day. That appear to be a great time to go to FL. The weather was warm and the crowds gone. We were pleased with the Sunrise. We had a two bedroom unit on the 12th floor. Beautiful view. The nice thing about this resort is that all units are waterfront with large balconies facing the water.. Our unit was fairly clean but had signs of wear. I complained about the floor being dirty but the property manager said the unit had been rented every week this year and they hadn't had time to schedule a shampoo of the rugs or thorough cleaning of the tile..Because it was rented through other than the resort, the card reader for the door was disabled and we had to use a regular key to lock/unlock the door. No biggie once you understood that. We found out with time that the water dispenser on the refrigerator didn't work and dishes on the top shelf of the dishwasher did not get clean so we had to put every piece on the bottom. I made the property manager aware of these issues before we left. Hopefully they are fixed now. Both pools and spas were kept very clean. They were not at all crowded since, I guess, if was off season. If I had a complaint about the resort, it would be that there was not enough shade around the pool. It was very warm when we were there. I couldn't imagine it in the summer! There was easy access to the beach with hose off for when you come back off the beach. Two barbeques with the propane supplied makes outdoor grilling easy. We would stay here again if we return to the area.
