Stopped by this pier on a very short visit to Panama City. Fee was very low for non-fisherman. Undoubtedly the cleanest and nicest pier I have ever been on. It was pretty long so we were able to get a great view of the coast. All the fisherman we talked to were very friendly and informative. Great way to spend an hour or so.

The pier has recently been built and it is GREAT. The view of the water is wonderful. We've always met many nice people "hanging out" on the pier taking in the beautiful emerald water.

While we were there we got to see dolphins swimming by. Also got to see a gentleman who had caught a flounder and was showing it to people who were visiting. We had no trouble getting a stroller around the pier. The water was crystal clear and you could see clear to the bottom. $3 fee per person.

I took my 88 year old mother for a walk on the pier. She had no trouble negotiating her wheeled walker down the center of the pier on the concrete. I would hazard a guess that a wheelchair would have made it comfortably as well. We enjoyed viewing the fish and waves, looking up and down the beach, talking to fishermen. We particularly enjoyed what appeared to be a loon diving and chasing fish directly below us. The crystal clear water and white sandy bottom make it easy to see what marine life is around. A word of caution - don't stand under the light poles if a pelican is perched on top. We saw some boys learn that lesson the hard way.

Love this pier! You can walk along & watch dolphins swim by, stingray's, etc. You can fish if you want, or just enjoy watching what other people catch. This is for all ages, families, couples, etc. The end of the pier is pretty deep so you always see some fascinating sea life swimming by. There are also plenty of benches to sit on along the walk if you get tired. This is a great experience for everyone!
