I checked out very shortly after checking in.
Our first room stunk so horrible that we had to ask for another room. The second room stunk just as bad and we had to ask to be moved again. The third room was upstairs and the stink was not as bad but the room was just as filthy as the other two rooms and we found roaches crawling on the bed.
The staff is not helpful and unfriendly. The manager is right out rude. He screamed at me when I called the next day asking for a refund.
I am still in total disbelief that this motel is allowed to be open and do business.

To start, this place is a run down dump. The room had a musty/mold smell to it. Cleaning and maintenance are not high on anyone who works here's priority list. Our group had several rooms and in at least two of the rooms the bathroom doors wouldn't shut. This place is here to make money not spend it. Makes you feel like you need a body condom, was afraid to go barefoot. Most uncomfortable bed award winner of all time. Perfect for spring breakers who are drunk and don't care. This was booked for our group by someone else. Their booking privileges have been stripped away. Permanently!

I went to there hotel website and resverd a room for 3 nigths with the 4th night free. We I get to the hotel their was nothing for me but they still took my deposit. My friend talked to the manger and ask why there wasn't a room for us and she say thats crazy. The manger use profanity and told us to get out his hotel. We tried to reason with him but the said that he didn't want black in his hotel.
We got back our money and went to Casa Loma and had a great time in P.C.

Had a double room at this place and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. It appeared to have been recently remodeled and there was a fridge/microwave in the room. Good array of "freebies" in the room for this size property and price range (lotion, soaps, etc). The people are friendly and the place is convenient to all of the attractions and dining (wal-mart is just down the street). The beach is a few blocks away. This is not a fancy-looking property...I would guess it was built in the 70s. Two stories, no elevator. The beds in the double room are true doubles, not queens. Doughnuts, coffee and such in the lobby every morning. There is a go-cart track and mini-golf across the road, which is good for being close if the kids want to go, but can be a little noisy. Overall, I would say this is a great option to the beach prices if you do not require beachfront and the rates are priced right. When the rates creep above the $60s, however, I would explore newer properties on the beachfront.

Do not stay in this hotel. We checked into this hotel late at night after driving most of the day to get there. The hotel is across the street from an amusement park that is very noisy. As we got out of the car, we saw several adults hanging over the second floor balcony yelling to people on the first floor (they looked creepy and it seemed like they were drunk). When we got into our room, we noticed several things wrong. The room smelled and looked really dirty. The refridgerator and microwave were so rusty it was disgusting. There were no blankets on the bed, only a comforter which had cigarette burns in it. Also, the hotel is 1 mile from the beach and most of the streets don't have sidewalks.

On the plus side, when we went to ask for a refund 10 minutes after checking in the front desk was prompt in issuing the refund.

I would highly recommend staying at the super 8 down the street. We got the same price per night as the travelodge and it was clean, across the street from the beach and set back from the road (so it was quiet). Also, the staff was helpful and friendly. It is not a luxury hotel but it is a good deal for the price.

Very friendly staff, clean, basic rooms. Price was definitely right. Continental breakfast wasn't worth getting up for. Staff recommended places to eat that were very good.
