We were here on a Friday night and waited 30 minutes for a table for 2. We overheard larger parties waiting for almost 2 hours.
After being seated for over 10 minutes, our waitress greeted us and took our order. She was very busy with 2 large parties.
We ordered Who Dat Shrimp for the appetizer. It's a "Local Favorite". Oh my gosh! It was delicious!
I ordered the Crab Cake dinner and my wife had the Blackened Shrimp with Cheese Grits. Both of our meals were very good.
When we return next year for our summer vacation, we will eat here.

A frequent traveler told us about the Happy Hour here. From 3 to 6, you get $1.00 PBR's and a Baker's Dozen of the freshest most delicious oysters for $7.99! These oysters were monstrous! You also have to try the Bacon/Pepper jack cheese baked oysters, my mouth is watering just thinking about them. This place was so wonderful we went 3 times, well worth the trip!

Heard this place had great food and it was good advice. Although we did not have the HooDat shrimp we did have grilled shrimp and grouper and it was very good. I asked to taste the Hoo Dat sauce to which our server replied it cost $.99 for a taste so we passed on that. Service overall was good. The restaurant itself is a little rustic, or better yet "beachy". We would go back!

My boyfriend was looking for a place to have oysters on the half shell. We asked the bartender at holiday inn resort and she told us about this place. It was close enough for us to walk. I had the who dat shrimp which was really tasty. He got his oysters and loved them. He also loved the price because they had a happy hour special. You could tell it was a lot of locals because they all seemed to know each other, nice people.if we lived there we would become regulars

Great oysters and good happy hour prices..$7.99 per dozen....hit or miss on sizes...one night large and plump...next night small with pieces of shell. Over all food good not great. Gumbo needs a little work. Easy fun place on beach but not New Orleans.
