Heard this place had great food and it was good advice. Although we did not have the HooDat shrimp we did have grilled shrimp and grouper and it was very good. I asked to taste the Hoo Dat sauce to which our server replied it cost $.99 for a taste so we passed on that. Service overall was good. The restaurant itself is a little rustic, or better yet "beachy". We would go back!

My boyfriend was looking for a place to have oysters on the half shell. We asked the bartender at holiday inn resort and she told us about this place. It was close enough for us to walk. I had the who dat shrimp which was really tasty. He got his oysters and loved them. He also loved the price because they had a happy hour special. You could tell it was a lot of locals because they all seemed to know each other, nice people.if we lived there we would become regulars

Great oysters and good happy hour prices..$7.99 per dozen....hit or miss on sizes...one night large and plump...next night small with pieces of shell. Over all food good not great. Gumbo needs a little work. Easy fun place on beach but not New Orleans.

New Orleans style restaurant. Must order Who dat Shrimp Pand the cake. Prices are reasonable. Crowded for dinner, so plan ahead. Will have to wait.

My husband and I went there on vacation two years ago and it was the best seafood we've ever had. We just went back there last week and the service was horrible and the food was just average. We ordered an appetizer that never came, my husband's salad didn't come out until after he ate his meal and he had to ask for it, we were served cheese grits with no spoons and had to ask twice before we received them. We were willing to overlook the poor service if the food was as good as it was two years ago but unfortunately, it was not. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't great. Won't be going back.
