I always enjoy our trips to the Hofbrau. Before the kid (our little pup who goes along with us in a stroller-don't judge!) we loved going for the beer. This time we sat outside with our pooch and really, really enjoyed the food. We got the Gemiitlichkeit platter and it was awesome! It's great for 2 people to really get a good feel for different German dishes. There was so much we ate left overs as well! We also got a big pretzel. We ordered the beer cheese and our server recommended the herb cheese as well so we tried both and really ending up loving the herb, Speaking of servers...ours was great. The staff is so friendly and we appreciate them accommodating us with the pooch. They brought her a water bowl and fawned over her. They laughed and cut up with us. Very enjoyable experience. If you have never been...GO!

After visiting this establishment for the 4th time and 5 years we can honestly say that it is consistent. It does very well keeping the mood europeanly festive. The food is pretty close to authentic However, a few points of improvement such as insuring the menued german staples such as jagerschnitzel requiring some improvements esspecially on the frying part... Also the menu says jagerschnitzel however what is served is rahm schnitzel... there is a distinct difference but overall pretty good.

So they had a Bavarian Nacho Plate....that was out of this world, but the burgers and chicken...nasty...we didn't eat hardly any. Very disappointing for the money. Staff was nice though!

Went here for lunch. Ate outside as it was a beautiful fall day. Had the brats w/ rye bread and hot mustard. They were terrific. My husband had a few Oktoberfest beers and loved them . Reminded us of when we lived in Germany years ago. The german potatoe salad was very good too. Will go back to try the scnitzel. A nice friendly place, clean and has great service.
