Description: There are still quite a few of you out there that think that Triple J is just a steakhouse. As the area's premier steakhouse, we think we make the best steak in Panama City Beach. That said, we do a whole lot more than just great grilled beef! For over ten years we have been providing families and diners from around the country with a full array of delicious selections ranging from fresh Florida seafood, to grilled pork and chicken, and the ever popular mile high burgers & sandwiches. In addition to the expansive Dinner Menu, the home-style Lunch Menu at Triple J is extremely popular and has been a favorite with the local business community for years.

The prices are fair at this steakhouse. The salad and bread were excellent. The fried crab claws were fresh and very good. The steaks were good, but I have had more flavorful steaks. Still good though. Excellent service.

Excellent food. Had the blackend fish, excellent. Gals had the pepperjack chicken and my brother in law had the country steak. Everyone said it was excellent.

Great music to listen and dance to., the only complaint is that the dance floor is too small

We enjoyed another delicious steak dinner last night. Love the flavor of the Triple J Sirloin 8 oz.. steak. My husband ordered the 10 oz and was disappointed with the thin but well prepared steak. Ours were thick 8 oz. that looked as good as the Filets. Cooked to perfection (meduim rare) and the salads were cold and crisp and just right. The veggie combo side was done well with a nice mixture of veggies and not al dente which is sometimes troublesome for seniors. My steak fries could have been crispier for my taste. All in all, excellent.

We are locals and have been to this restaurant many times. Although I would not consider the menu items to be in the "gourmet" category, in the past the food was properly cooked and a good value for the money.

On this trip we were with a group of people, on a weekday evening, during off season. The restaurant overall was not busy. We ordered a variety of meals, the Red Fish, Prime Rib, Chicken Alfredo and Seafood Platter and all the meals (except fried items) were way over cooked. The Red Fish had a nicely seasoned rub, but the fish itself was rubbery. The Chicken in the Alfredo was dried out, and it appeared the dish had been sitting for a while, because the cream sauce had solidified. The Prime Rib looked just awful and was dry.

We had two waiters take care of our table. Our waiter was just awful. He made very strange comments as he was walking by the table and serving us. He did not place the plates on the table, or pick them up himself when clearing. He would ask us to hand the plates to him! He seemed very confused, he was not familiar with the menu. When we asked questions about the menu, he didn't know the answers, but didn't offer to ask the Chef or to find out. He forgot to bring things that were requested, including drinks. We had to ask many times for things, including our to-go-boxes.

I was not pleased to find a 20% gratuity added to the bill. Each couple was given a separate ticket. Our waiter was definately not worth the 20% tip and we should have had the opportunity to amend the tip accordingly. Wait staff should earn their tips and shouldn't be rewarded for below average service. Just as they should be rewarded for service above and beyond.

It will be a long time before I return.

We were told of this restaurant by the manager at our Hotel. Decided to try it out. Service was fantastic from the time we walked in until the time we left, from the Hostess to the wait staff and especially the chef. Ordered Prime Rib, as recommended by everybody, and was greatly impressed with the texture, flavor, and taste. Was comparable to some of the finest Prime we have tasted, including Lowrys. The appetizer of Seared Ahi was excellent. And the wine selection was a wonderful Merlot that added to the meal.
