Had an enjoyable time visiting through the park. The wildlife, the pier, the bay - made for a fascinating and relaxing way to enjoy the very peaceful side of PCB!

Favorite park in the state of Florida. Great facilities for camping, biking, scuba, or just enjoying nature.

You can see all kinds of wildlife here. In the summer you can see the alligators in the freshwater and there are a ton of deer here to. I have even seen them swim across the pass to shell island. I dive the pass all the time and I love the park.

Spent several hours at the park. The internet said the shops in the park were closed this time of year. That was incorrect. We found the camp store open, as well as the beach store. The restrooms here don't all have working locks on them, but I did find a stall that would lock. They have nice pier areas with permanent flooring, instead of splintery wood, which was really nice.

They have a few areas to get out and walk some paths, which we did. The paths are marked pretty well. It was disappointing to see the amount of trash people leave in the wildlife area. There are plenty of trash cans around, so not sure why they can't get it in a can.

The beach area toward Shell Island is a mix of sand and broken shells, so it is a little harder on bare feet than the sand beaches. The cove area had a lot of dead jelly fish (15-20), so not sure why staff don't clear that out. The water in that area is much shallower, so it is nice to walk in since there is little wave or current.

The gazebo overlooking the area was especially nice, as it provided shade and had a nice breeze. Could easily see coming out here and eating in one of the pavilions. Wasn't horribly expensive to get into and they do have yearly passes that seemed reasonable as well.
