We stayed at the Buccaneer Beach Motel who advised us to go across the street to Big Mama's for breakfast. It is situated on a lake at the rear of the restaurant. The parking lot is wooded and the cars stay cool. We were seated immediately and given coffee and menus. If you are on a high fiber diet, you may want to eat someplace else. There is no fruit or oatmeal on the menu. The waitress was always available but not crowding. Our order came within 3 minutes of placing it... French toast with sausage and eggs over easy with grits, biscuit, and bacon. Hot and perfectly cooked. I loved the grits and I am not a big grits fan. We found it a bit interesting that they served Parkay margarine in squeeze bottles, CoffeMate coffee creamers and an off brand catsup.... But that worked for us. The full cost was about $13. The metal eating utensils came packaged and were very clean. Not even water stains. It was a great breakfast at a reasonable cost.
