This is exactly the kind of place I look for while traveling: A local (non-chain) place with great food and great service. When you walk in the door, you're enthusiastically welcomed. This is a mom & pop type place, and they aim to please! To start things off, there's no "real" menu - There's a large ice-filled display with a variety of seafood that was swimming the day before. That's the menu for Cato's! You choose what you want from what's available, add in some sides and a drink, and they cook it up for you. For example, the first night I went there, the special was 3/4 lbs peeled and deveined shrimp, sliced potatoes w/ cheese, 1/2 piece of corn, toast, and a non-alchoholic drink for around $15. I found Cato's towards the end of my 1-week business trip, and made sure to return for a 2nd dinner before I headed home. If your seafood eating thing is sitting on the water in a fancy restaurant, then this isn't your place. If great food, great prices, and great service is your thing, then this is your place!
