Beautiful view, great atmosphere, fun and informative tasting! We enjoyed trying the various hard ciders out and left with some new favourites. The staff were friendly and helpful!

The 1880s barn is impressive- barn wood on a stone foundation. I have learned the colourful painting on the barn is a “barn quilt”. In this case, it was an apple tree!

It was lunch time but the restaurant was closed. This was disappointing since it was only the 2nd of Oct. Inside, the ciders were prominently displayed and small tastings were $1 each. These were NOT applied to any purchases you made as is usually the case!

Call me silly but I didn’t realize most of their bottles are “hard “ cider with an alcoholic content of 6.5%. The pear was my favourite but they have several fruit based flavours. However, not suitable for family Thanksgiving! For that occasion, I purchased the Sweet Sparkling Apple Cider( grape blend). It is VERY sweet with 15 gms. of sugar in a 5oz.glass.

This was an interesting 1st stop in The County.

We have been to County Cider on several occasions, enjoyed a lunch, a glass of cider and the view. This time, because there were 3 ciders we hadn't tasted before, we decided to sample them. 3 samples. 3 dollars. The samples were quite small and, unlike all the wineries we visited, the cost of the samples was not dismissed when we bought around $85 of cider. We did think this was a bit mean and we left feeling slightly disappointed. It's the small things that niggle - don't they?

I think this place has one of the best outdoor patios overlooking the bay. The pear cider was delicious and the had high chairs which accommodates young families. The only complaints would be the food quantity and price and a lack of a kids menu. The lamb burger was delicious but bordered on the size of a slider and came with a small coleslaw for $18. Pizzas were ok but not worth the $18 each. To give size perspective my toddler finished all of her pizza. Will go back for the views and the cider.

Our first visit to PEC, County Cider was recommended by friends. Location is remote (but what isn't in PEC?). Called ahead to make sure we could bring our dog and Chris answered all of our questions with YES. So nice to hear. We arrived and were escorted to the pet-friendly section (picnic tables) but with large umbrellas and as beautiful a view as everyone else. Did I mention the view? Breathtaking! My first exposure to cider, our waitress was informative and efficient (although clearly run off her feet). You could hear the orders from the outside kitchen. Chef was wonderfully polite, always saying " Pick up Please". It made for an harmonious atmosphere. Pizza was delicious as was the Waupoos Cider. We went to the shop to buy some to bring home…20 minutes in line! Obviously they need help in this area. Would definitely return.

We have been wine tasting in Prince Edward County and Pelee Island areas and are used to the fee for tasting being waived if you buy a bottle or two at the winery. Was disappointed that County cider company collected this charge. I bought several bottles of cider, a bottle of ice cider and lunch for 2. Liked all the ciders but not sure I will rush back here. Other places seem more grateful for our business.

An amazing array of ciders! The most beautiful views in PEC ! The restaurant is very popular for good reason ... suggest checking in with the restaurant before doing your tastings the lamb burger is fantastic and my friend adored the gluten free pizza staff are fun and knowledgeable.

This cider place is a delightful surprise. The ciders are delicious and a little pricey. There is also a restaurant on the premises with a great view of Lake Ontario.

We visited as a family of six with two very young children. Our first stop was the tasting room where we tried five different ciders (the sixth variety was sold out). Lots of variance among them ranging from quite dry to a very sweet peach. After that we walked across to the outdoor restaurant and all had the pizzas. Burgers and a few other things are also available but the menu is not massive. The views down through the small vineyard to Lake Ontario are wonderful as you sit with your pizza and cider. This is a really nice and relaxing place to spend an hour or so especially on a nice warm summer day. There is no play area for children so you will have to keep an eye on them.
