The place is huge. There are 4 great golf courses that are in great condition. Copperhead is the championship course and usually plays in about 4- 4:30 hours while the others play usually less than 4. The courses are filled with water hazards and are very pretty. The resort has many restaurants which are all great. The rooms are nice but a little dark. The service there is great. They take you anywhere on the resort you want to go.

My wife and I stayed here for a conference and were really impressed by the size of the room. We expected normal size room with just a bed and a cramped bathroom. Definitely not the case. We had a large one bedroom suite with a golf course view and a nice size kitchen area. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows (big smile) and the bathroom was large enough for two people. The only negative is the room had a slight "damp" smell to it when we fist walked in. Can't quite describe it but almost the same smell when the kids come back from the pool...and no, we didn't have the kids with us. It wasn't intolerable, but we noticed the smell when we first walked in and it took away from the "Ahhhh" factor of the rest of the room. Service was excellent. Our bellman took very care of us and even opened up to marketplace store after it was closed so we could pick up a few things. Additionally, the room was a great value for the price we paid. We will come back and stay again for another get away.

We went on a 5-day vacation with my daughter and her family, including two 7-year olds. Although the resort is primarily a golf resort, there are several other activities there for a family with children. The "Loch Ness Monster" pool was lovely, and heated, as all their pools were, which was great because the weather was a little cool. Although neither child is 48 inches tall, which is the minimum for the slide, if we signed our permission the kids got a waiver and a hand-stamp which allowed them to use the slides, which was very nice. The pool had several activities for kids during the days we were there, such as tie-dying shirts, painting ceramics, etc which was fun.

They also had free mini golf and a playground. You can easily get around by calling for transportation, and within a few minutes a mini-bus appears to take to to your destination.

We did find the restaurants very high, but we primarily ate outside the resort. We had fridges etc so we could keep some drinks and snacks on had, which was very useful. We also took a ride to Tarpon Springs, and enjoyed dining outside by the fishing ships, and taking a walk in the town to see where the Greek Sponge diving industry was.

Overall, it was a fun trip, and 4-5 days was the right duration. My suggestion would be to have some breakfast/ coffee shop on site where prices would be more family-friendly.

As far as the rooms, they were clean, but not terribly modern. The hot water was fine for us, but in the other room they did not have enough hot water to get through a full shower. We didn't have a dresser, but we made do with shelves. For a short vacation, that was fine, but it would be a pain if we were staying over a week.

Room Tip: If you have kids, try to be near the Loch Ness pool.

Only stay here if your golfing as there is nothing else to do in this area or at this resort.
The buildings are very outdating 2 stories filled with individually owned condo's. Most are very dated. Pool closes at 8 so kids will be bored early. The only thing to do in Palm Harbor is the primate sanctuary which is only open Thursday through Sunday and has very nasty volunteers.
The resort condo buildings are really spread out so you get lost easily. They will not accomodate any groups and you will be staying a mile away from friends or family if you bought more than one. I normally pick great places and could kick myself for this one. I should have known the price was too good to be true. Oh,,, you will have a blast tryng to get your luggage into your condo as you have to navigate down lots of stairs and then up lots of stairs while carrying everything.

Room Tip: Make sure you tell them you want an updated condo.

This resort is huge (900 acres) and has a nice lay-out. It's conveniently located less than 30 min from Tampa airport and a short drive away to the beaches in Clearwater. I went to visit some friends and family in Palm Harbor 5 years ago and my cousin recommended I stay here, and we liked it back then. So this is our second stay, with my 3 kids. The kids enjoyed themselves and because we chose a room very close to the Loch Ness pool, they were able to go back & forth between our suite and pool without having to use the shuttle. The food was OK, not too many options. I think it would be nice if the resort adds more dining options since it's such a big property. We tried playing tennis and that was nice, the kids enjoyed the Nature Walk. I wasn't able to use the Spa but I heard good things about it. Gold seems to be the main attraction here. Overall, the resort is nice if you have to be in the Palm Harbor area.

Room Tip: If you want to be closer to Loch Ness Pool, the hotel's main pool, choose rooms in the Lytham Bl...

We are delighted you came back after visiting us a few years ago. Within that time we have made a number of improvements and are happy you were able to bring your family back to enjoy them. We like to be known as a place to stay for a number of different occasions but especially when our guests have family in the area it makes it that much more special for us to be that place you have chosen. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time you are in the area.

Sadly we are leaving after a wonderful visit. I cannot say enough about this resort. We rented a two bedroom unit for 4 adults and 2 children. It was updated and spacious. Innisbrook is not just for the golfer. There are tennis courts, racquetball, shuffleboard, mini golf, beach volleyball, basketball, etc. a perfect place for the family or romantic getaway with quiet pools at the various condos and the amazing Loch Ness pool with a perfect sandy beach for the kids. Endless children's activities including sandcastle building contests and daily crafts to name a few. The tram is a quick and friendly way to get around the property. Dinner was always wonderful on the deck of market salamander and the nightly fire pits were wonderful. The staff here are the most friendly and accommodating. We travel quite a bit and I am a snob when it comes to our accommodations....innisbrook gets five stars all day from me!

Room Tip: No elevators.

Although the property was constructed in the 1970's, it has been updated and is well maintained. The garden apartment building we stayed in looked old but the 2 BR suite was comfortable and very roomy. It had a kitchen, dining area, living area, 2 full baths, master bedroom and an attached "hotel room" with 2 double beds. It would comfortably fit a family of 6. Comparable to staying in an older condo with housekeeping and lots of amenities.

We stayed during a busy week. I was told they were 99% booked by the weekend.

The golf courses looked very nice but I would look elsewhere for a review since we didn't play. Same for tennis and the spa.

Three of the pools were heated which helped during a chilly week. The Lagoon pool was great for the kids. It has a very shallow end for the little ones and gradually gets deeper. There are also water slides. Our experience during this busy week was to grab chairs before 10am or you might not get one until a family left later in the day. We were told it wasn't difficult to get chairs during non-peak days.

The fitness room is well equipped and you can run/walk along roadways which have a 20mph limit.

They have a very efficient shuttle service with friendly drivers. They pick you up quickly after a call and will drop you anywhere you need.

Our room plan included two free breakfasts which was a plus. We found the buffet at Packard's Steakhouse to be the fastest.

Packard's was also a very good choice for a nice steak dinner.

We visited the following:
(1) Busch Gardens - hit for our kids. They enjoyed feeding the giraffe on the safari ride.
(2) Dali Museum, St. Petersburg - Interesting architecture.
(3) Clearwater Marine Aquarium - from the movie Dolphin Tale. It is an older facility but fun for kids. We thought the behind the scenes tour was worth the extra money.
(4) Kayaking Hillsborough River. During a 1 1/2 hr easy paddle we saw 40 alligators, turtles, egrets, ibis, herons. It was an adventure. Canoe Escape operates at a state park along the river.
