We have been coming to Amarit for some time. In fact we have a table reserved for 6 of us for our anniversary every year. It is not inexpensive but well worth the price. The ingredients are fresh and they will modify any dish to meet your specific desires. I love their panang curry but have them replace the green pepper with broccoli.
Everyone has a favorite and we are never disappointed.

Never disappointed here. The food is always excellent as well as the service. Only downside is its popularity and the atmosphere can go from relaxing and enjoyable to loud very quickly! Still, it's the best Thai food in this area

We ordered the spring rolls, spongy as if they have been sitting around for quite awhile.
My date ordered the seafood pad thai which contained all of THREE shrimp, therefore, way overpriced and the quality which was subpar. I ordered the Noodles with vegetables and tofu. The noodles were all stuck together in globs as if they also have been sitting around for hours and the vegetables were extremely sparse and contained exactly 4 small cubes of tofu which again what you get vs what you pay, way overpriced. I have eaten Thai food since the early 80's and been to Thailand in excess of 50 times. By far, this was the worst experience of Thai food.

Our group of 4 went there a couple of nights ago because of all the rave reviews we saw. Every single one of us was disappointed with the food. It wasn't bad, just totally mediocre, with not a single dish earning positive remarks from any one of us (all of us ordered different dishes). The green papaya salad was tasty, but lettuce in it has gone bad and tasted aweful. The grouper must have been caught a while ago and didn't taste like grouper anmore, just like any generic white fish. This wouldn't have been anproblem if it didnt't cost $25. Madaman curry was also disappointing. The servers forgot that one of the members in our party was allergic to one of the ingredients that she explicitly asked to exclude. The most unpleasant part was that the hostess, although very nice and friendly, had such aweful breath that every time she came to our table and leaned over to ask something (which she did a lot due to her poor English) I was about to throw up.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened nearly ten years ago. The food is always excellent and the service top notch. They make you feel like family there. Which is probably why there are so many regulars. Glad to see its received some well deserved recognition. By far the best Thai restaurant in the area.
Best kept secret - try the black sticky rice and coconut ice cream for dessert. (Just leave some for me)
