Wall springs park offers a number of trails, including one for bikes and skate boards. There are piers extending a short distance into the Gulf sound, which make very pleasant resting places as you walk. Folks with kids will like the playground features, and there always seems to be adequate parking (no charge for it like some places). Best of all to us are the little bridges and ramps around the springs and shallow-water marshes. There are birds, squirrels, racoons and other wildlife to photograph, and my favorites are the schools of fish that you can look down on, as the swim lazily by. I've seen a lot of mullet and even baby garfish there. There is truly nothing to complain about unless you need shady places, which are scarce. If you're looking for a leisurely coastal park, this is it.
