Went herw for my pre -birthday dinner. My partner didnt tell me where we were going and surprised me with Magnolia Grille. I love down home cooking and this is a great place for that. Started off with a sampler of corn nuggets, hushpuppies and sweet tater fries served with a trio of yummy sauces. We both chose fried chicken for our entree with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy that were to die for although more gravy would've been great. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was so juicy. Our other sides were fried green tomatoes and cole slaw which were both tasty. We had leftovers for the next days. Our servers were all smiles although our male server was slow. I heard his mom was in town so maybe his mind was elsewhere. The restaurant is small and meant to be comfy and eclectic so there are mismatched chairs and drink cups so if you are the type where that bugs you, dont go. Overall goid experience. We'll be back and bring others!
