Description: Down old highway A1A in Palm Coast, you will find a cozy place known as 'The Hammock' of the Palm Coast. There, nestled beneath large oak trees on a barrier island is a little out of the way place we call 'The Shack'.. Or JT's Seafood Shack! Friendly, attentive service and a casual atmosphere make JT's a favorite for locals and for those just passing through. No pretense, just good Florida Fish Camp style eatin'. This means large helpings of our freshly caught Shrimp and Crab which come in our World Famous (and traditional-styled) Crab Pots and Shrimp Pots. Pair that with one of our 12 ounce Rib Eye, Crab Cakes, Baby Back Ribs or Southwestern Chicken and you've got yourself a real meal. Our other specialties and local favorites include our large variety of Burgers, Sandwiches/Wraps, and Fish Tacos. The 'Shack', With its tin roof and wood doors features only fresh Oysters and Shrimp, Fish and Crab Cakes- all cooked to your liking. Our creative chefs have a license to delight. Our inventive menu puts on display all the best cuisine of the Atlantic Coastal Plain through the Florida Pan Handle. It's the perfect place for your lunch getaway and for a dining out for dinner! Nobody beats our generous daily 3-6pm Happy Hour. Looking for a casual place to eat and a guaranteed treat? Come on down to The Shack... We'll have ya at JT's Seafood Shack!

Jts is slightly better than average. There is nothing distinctive about it. However, there are always many guests there so perhaps the day i visited the quality was a bit diminished.

“Very good Seafood and great beer selection”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

We had two meals here. The first on Friday night was terrific, fried oysters and Scallops Au Gratin. Everything was hot and fresh. We returned on Saturday night and chose two appetizers, salad and desserts. The Calamari was a bit tough but tasty, the conch fritters were very good but a bit pricey for the serving and the salads were "just so." The desserts were wonderful and really what we wanted - peanut butter pie and fried banana cheesecake. Both were great. We had a great time both nights. The service both times was excellent. I think we just made a poor choice on Saturday. We would definitely go back if we are in the area.

“A Nice Surprise!”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

We stopped here on a whim for lunch on a drive to Daytona. Even though the place is a seafood "shack," the food is unreal! I had the grilled mahi mahi special- it was grilled perfectly and covered in a delicious Key West-style BBQ sauce. It came with rice and beans which were very flavorful. My dad got a seafood wrap and was also pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the fish and the unique flavor. Don't forget to try the house hot sauce sitting on the table- it looks menacing but has a great taste! The "shack" also has a full bar with plenty of beers on tap for a nice night out. Overall, the place was worth the stop, and we can't wait to go again!

Delicious all you can eat shrimp. Shrimp are large, French fries are excellent and house wine is a good value.

Bring the family there, nice food. Try to arrive between rush hours...less crowded! Fish platters are good.
