It's a decent Red Roof — pet friendly, clean rooms, all the boxes ticked — but Jason and the crew really made the place stand out. They were all super-friendly and helpful — when I asked about a decent, non-chain place to eat, he didn't simply suggest one or two, he suggested a few, handed me a dining guide, and then flipped through a coupon booklet to find a coupon for me.
The room was clean and even though it didn't have carpet — I suspect none of the pet rooms do — the carpet runners on either side of the bed went a long way towards ameliorating this.
The breakfast was above average for a Red Roof Inn, too. Highly suggest you stay here and, when you do, check out the art throughout the hotel — awesome vintage stuff.More
