My family and I have been going to this place for years! They catered my sister's wedding (very inexpensively, I might add), and not only was the food great, they went above and beyond to make everything perfect for the day. We still get compliments a year and a half later. And now every time we go in there, the owner, Joe, sends out special desserts for us. The wait staff is soooo friendly, and I've never had a bad meal in that place. Whenever I am in town, we Have to go to La Borgata!

We normally just order out. Being from NJ we searched for good Italian. The pizza never disappoints and the entrees are generous sizes and tasty. The dining area itself doesn't seem like a place I would generally go out to eat at but the all in all the food delicious.

Don't be turned off by the strip mall location - this is a wonderful gem of a restaurant! Based on word of mouth, my family tried this restaurant and we will be going back again and again! The pasta is wonderful, served in very large portions for great prices. The owners are a sweet Italian couple who have been in the restaurant business for quite some time. Its a nice, but still casual enough, sit down restaurant. Highly reco for anyone looking for a fab Italian dinner!

No one accidentally goes into La Borgata as it is in a dumpy little strip center with handmade signs in the windows. When you venture inside you are in a narrow hallway with the pizza ovens on your left so you are still unimpressed but turn the corner and you are in a pleasant dining room whose tables are filled virtually every day. If you look in the corner by the kitchen you will notice a round table set for 6-8 and most evenings the owners family are eating while greeting the many guests who know them. The menu offers an expansive list of pasta dishes and they also make excellent Stromboli and calzones plus everything is homemade. The prices are also very reasonable.

The food here is exellent. The menu is well thought out. You can tell that this family run business has been in the hospitality business for a very long time. The feeling you get when dining here is that of a neighborhood restaurant from the northeast. As you enter you pass the area where they make their pizzas, calzones and stromboli's and you hear the sounds of a gentleman singing the typical style of italian songs you'd hear being played in a northeast restaurant, The wine list is balanced and well planned out to compliment the dinner menu. After we ordered we were served these wonderfully delicious home made fluffy garlic knot rolls. For appetizer, we started with the fried calamari, which was very tender and delicious along with an appetizer portion of the eggplant rollitini, which i highly recommend. We then were served an exellent caesar salad with the prefect amount of garlic a lemon. Next on to our entrees, one of the members in our party ordered the veal salimbocca, which was very tender; it seemed to just melt in your mouth. I ordered the shrimp fra diablo. When it was served it consisted of 4 giant shrimp, the size of mini lobsters. The sauce itself was a very spicy tomato based sauce, which was made very well. The other members of our party ordered the eggplant parmesan with was also exellent and fettucine alfredo, wgich was served with home-made fettucine pasta. The pasta itself was soft a deicate. To ended our meal we decided to skip desset and finished with a robust demi tasse of espresso. The dining experience was very enjoyable and we will definately be return to this unique italian restuarant.
