The eclat is mostly deserved. BBQUEMAN is correct about the management issue. We waited an excessively long time for our reserved table & with no attention, apologies, or drink service to pass the time.
The waiter was excellent with his script, but apparently has minimal life beyond it. The food & drinks were quite marvelous, so I'll try it again with my never-ending optimism that all those other problems will be solved.

We've been to Seasons 52 in Palm Beach Gardens many times and have, with very rare exceptions, had a fine time. This visit was no exception. If this restaurant has a slight flaw, it might involve its reservation management system. This issue arises, in our experience, pretty much on weekend nights, at prime times, and often during the "busy season" in our area, January thru March. On more than one occasion, we've arrived on time, let's say 7:30, and we've had to wait up to 30-45 minutes to be seated. It's unfortunate, and often frustrating, and we'd hope that the restaurant would be able to find a better way to manage this, but it seems to be a persistent problem. With that said, once seated, everything moves along well.

The food at Season's 52 is great as are the drinks and the wine list. We always seem to start with one or more of the excellent flatbreads. This time we also sampled the shrimp cerviche which was quite nice. Our table of four had a variety of main courses, all well prepared and beautifully plated. We also shared a few of the mini desserts. As always, the service was friendly and professional, if not always prompt.

I'm sure that we'll be back again soon. This is a fun, brightly lit, noisy dining room, with a nice outdoor deck when it's warm enough, which is most of the time. Obviously, we enjoy it here.

I have now visited Seasons 52 in spring, summer, and winter. The menu has been excellent each and every time. The seasonal and weekly changes are a welcome bit of variety in a great restaurant keeping it interesting. The foods are always unique and made with fresh ingredients. This time we smelled the aroma of a wood burning fire as we walked to our table and found several choices on the menu created over a wood fire. I really enjoyed the wood fire cooked pork tenderloin served over creamy polenta with broccoli. The wine list is great here and should please every pallette. We enjoyed the sunset over the water with our cocktails and appetizers. Be sure to make a reservation if you go on a Saturday in "season" in Florida.

My wife and I went to Seasons 52 for a Valentines Day dinner. We had heard so many wonderful things about it from others and the reviews on Trip Advisor were excellent. However, we were very disappointed.

AMBIANCE.....The physical restaurant is wonderful. Beautifully decorated with an oval bar in the center of one of several rooms. Large booths with plenty of room, and a bit raised from floor level. Unfortunately, a piano player /singer inside the bar was so loud and obnoxious, one could not even have a conversation. His voice was screechy. Rather than providing background music, he thought he was performing at a concert.

SERVICE.....Teriffic. Our server, Cassandra, was friendly, prompt, and attentive.
APPETIZERS.....They push their flatbreads, wanting you to purchase them, since they do not serve bread. We passed and each had a salad.....caesar and spinach. The greens, themselves were fresh and chilled. However, the dressings on each were overpowering.

ENTREES....My wife chose the Filet Mignon, and I had the Sesame Crusted Tuna. The Filet was only 3/4 inch thick....never seen a filet cut so thin. The taste was overpowered by a gravy. Let the natural flavors of the beef be tasted...maybe a little lemon butter sqauce? The tuna seemed to be microwaved....no sign of a sesame crust or grill marks. Good tuna is seared on a very hot grate. This appeard to have been nuked. Vegetables had no taste except for my wife's mashed potatoes which had a musty odor / taste.

DRINKS.....You can't really hurt a vodka on the rocks, and my 1/2 glass of wine ($6.50) made the other 4 drinks in the bottle all profit.

ON A GOOD NOTE.....When our server notice that my wife barely touched her meal she was very apologetic, and offered to remove it from the bill. The manager also came to our table and indicated that we would not be charged for her meal. He also offered us free desserts and/or drinks.

CONCLUSION.....We would try Seasons 52 again, but not on a special night like Valentines Day. The restaurant was jam packed. There is seating for several hundred people, and every seat was taken. Maybe that was the problem.

We had to wait 20 minutes for our reservation, that was not the problem. We had requested a booth downstairs and were told we could have one upstairs in 15 minutes. The assistant hostess took us to a table. I explained we were told we would be getting a booth. She was insolent, checked with the desk and found a booth, only after we loudly complained.
The server forgot to bring several side dishes, and was nowhere to be seen many times when we needed something. Service was lousy.
Food is delicious. If you are coming during the season in Jan Feb, avoid Saturday night, and do not expect a reservation to be accurate. Manager blamed OpenTable for overbooking? Huh? Can they not exert influence as Darden is a major , major chain?
