When Vic & Angelo's opened we went to dine there and the music was so loud we could not hear each other across the table. Tried again with out of town friends and this time requested the music be tuned down. Waiter said could not be done so we left.
After friends exclaimed this to be their favorite restaurant, we returned with friends on a Saturday evening and sat towards the front in a booth. The music is still loud but we were able to converse better than before. It was a rainy night so no one could eat outside which may have increased the noise levels yet it never got to be abusive to our ears.
The menu is extensive and presents more choices than most Italian restaurants in the area. We had pasta, fish, chicken and salads. Overall, everyone enjoyed their dishes and cleaned their plates. Our server was gracious, courteous and attentive. The maitre'd also checked in several times and although the restaurant was filled, we never felt neglected or unattended.
Certainly would return but would choose a quieter day and time. Worth giving this restaurant a try.
