I loved this hotel. Amazing old world charm. Elegant, relaxing, and spa like all at the same time. Clean rooms and wonderful breakfast/brunch from the food served and the rooms that it was hosted in. I would love to return. The only downside I can see for some is it is crowded. It had a lot of families and a fair amount of children but also weddings occurring. I didn't mind it but it is not a quiet getaway.

Wish I had been able to stay longer to enjoy more of the features of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and I don't recall hearing any noise once I was in my room -- when does that happen? Spectacular details in the lobby and public areas. The staff are there for you when you need them, but not hovering, either. We had conference meetings in a large room where we were able to have the curtains open in the morning so we could enjoy the view. I just LOVED the fact that there was a television screen built into the bathroom mirror. If I could change one thing, it would be to add another bank of elevators. It felt like we were always waiting for one; then it would be full of people. The sets of elevators are just not quite enough for the number of guests, especially since the bellmen use them also. Also be forewarned, there really isn't a typical beach; the hotel mainly has a seawall. I can't recommend the spa, but I only visited one time. The spa felt small, and there aren't relaxing ocean views. While waiting, every seat in the room was full, so you were sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with others. Massage therapist wasn't good, but I'm sure there are better ones there. Plus, why go to the spa when you can enjoy the pools and shopping?

Went to the Black Tie New Years Eve Fantasy Ball. Spectacular event with about 700 people. Great spirits and food coupled with live music and entertainment. Held in the ballroom which has an expansive dance floor.

Great way to spend the evening with all in evening gowns/dresses and men in black tie.

The Breakers is simply one-of-a-kind. The property is in pristine condition and is grand. The service is excellent as expected. It is a special place and you feel it the minute you pull in the drive. HFM lounge is gorgeous. The brunch is phenomenal. Flagler Steak House is equally amazing. Not a bad word about anything. We stayed with friends and they were in awe of the property as well and kept thanking us for brining them there.

Room Tip: See if you can get upgraded to a junior suite.

I was fortunate to stay for several days for a meeting. The hotel is a landmark institution for Palm Beach so I wasn't sure it was going to live up to its reputation. I was not disappointed in either the room or hotel grounds. Everything was superbly maintained and the historic features of the hotel have been wonderfully preserved. My room was very large with entrance way, bedroom, dressing room and bath with walk-in shower. The only disappointment was my room didn't look directly out on the ocean but sideways with only a lateral view of the beach. The grounds are well manicured and provide many shops for your convenience and pleasure. Overall a great experience in luxuriating in PB.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with direct view of the ocean.
