My wife and young son came here in June of 2009, so it's been a while, but we absolutely loved this place.
The room was impeccably nice -- beautifully decorated, clean, quiet, incredible bed, was just lovely.
The grounds were spectacular, BEAUTIFUL pool, right next to the beach, great kids recreation area with video games, nice workout/exercise area. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and clean, with great service. If you can afford it, those cabanas looked awesome (I think they were about $200/day though).
The restaurants were great -- expensive, but not wildly so. We had a couple of memorable meals there.
The only drawback to this place is that you're not really near anything. The hotel gladly calls a limo for you to go shopping, but catching a cab back was pretty hard if I remember correctly. I'm sure there's a real premium on parking if you rent and park a car there.
Some folks have reviewed that the decorating is dated. Perhaps -- but we liked it and enjoyed our stay.
We'd definitely come back.

Not the best Four Seasons I've ever stayed in. Pool is small at best and filled with kids, so not very relaxing. Beach is beautiful and rooms are small and nice.

But wow, the front desk just couldn't get my bill right. They kept giving me other people's bills and it made it a nightmare to submit for my expense report! They were rude, not helpful and kept telling me everything was "all fixed" when it never was and had to call back multiple times.

Stay at the Omphoy next door.

We had booked a seven-day stay at this Four Seasons. We had enjoyed all our previous Four Seasons stays and we were looking forward to this one. Unfortunately, it was not what one would expect of a Four Seasons. The room was nice but overall nothing special compared to other Four Seasons. Petty charges (Sun NY Times, certain areas by the pool) abounded. The rooms were nice, but again not that nice for a Four Seasons. One pillow smelled so bad, we had to exchange it; never happened to us. Ok, maybe bad luck. The noisy door locks meant every bedroom door opened and closed nearby was a full-blown wakeup call. Overall, it seems this hotel has many organizational issues (coffee machine in the room did not work at first, the wine list did not correspond to what they had on stock, our room was once not serviced until after 4: 30pm…). Every time, the staff compensated us but we would have had rather none of this happened and enjoy our stay. This hotel is overall a very good hotel, the food was good but definitely nothing like a Four Seasons is meant to be.

Not that hard to write a review, as the name Four Seasons is synonymous with first class comfort. I was here for only a short time on business, but the staff was very pleasant, good sized fitness center, excellent food, and extremely spacious room. Grounds are very pretty. I try to leave something to work on in just about every review, but can't think of anything here.

Excellent in every way. Very comfortable room with balcony and ocean view. Bathroom was exellent with toilet in separate closet, one sink and separate shower and tub. Room has safe and ironing board. Quiet at night, we had no trouble sleeping well. Restaurant dinner was exellent, the prices for food and drink surprisingly were not excessive at our Saturday night meal. Beach service was terrific. Full fitness facility with sauna. Not much other than condos and other hotels in the area. Taxi to Palm Beach about $35, fixed $35 to PBI.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south and central sides have better view of sunrise than north wing.

While visiting friends we made a weekend getaway to the for seasons. Expensive-- a bit-- but being invited to stay with friend's at their condo balanced with our getaway. Would we do it again? In a heartbeat. Everything about the four seasons is 5 star-- location, meals, rooms. From the minute of our arrival to the end we were treated in style "after all, this is the four seasons",

Room Tip: The air conditioning I found was best to turn off at night. I'm a no noise sleeper-- it worked!

Ignore the negative reviews.
This establishment is first class. - wonderful location, professional staff, elegant decor and intimate surroundings.
Very cool and classy as opposed to stuffy, formal W Palm alternatives.
