“Perfect relaxing break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

Wow this hotel was treat for my partner and I. It was faultless, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had 2 successful sea fishing trips, bringing our 'catch' back to the hotel to prepare with great suggestions from the chef was a fantastic experience. Sitting the round the pool being looked after by the staff was so relaxing, they were fab! Spa treatments were great, a little rich but worth treating yourself! Turtles laying their eggs on the beach of an evening, just another enjoyable experience. Yes we'd go back

The question was, What is the best hotel in the area of West Palm Beach? Since it didn't say, the best hotel on a budget, hands down, the best is the Four Seasons. A gorgeous property with impeccable, attentive service, on the ocean on AIA S.Ocean Blvd. just before the Lake Worth bridge, 15 min. from downtown West Palm. Since most of us can't afford to stay there on straight rack rates, if you're not on a business or other discount package, do go have your drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner there. It is so calming, so elegant, in the gorgeously redone living room, bar, lounge areas, in stunnning, silky sky blue furnishings (unlike the all black marble interior darkness of the adjacent luxury hotel, The Omphoy.) We live nearby and go to the Four Seasons with friends for light meals and drinks regularly. The Ritz Carlton is nice 10 minutes farther south on AIA, but the Four Seasons wins. Both have great spa services for a few hours' treat to luxury.

I always look forward to an opportunity to stay at a Four Seasons Hotel; the staff is consistently fresh and welcoming, the decor luxuriously minimal, the ambience very calming. At the same time each location feels unique. This Four Seasons is beautifully situated on a quiet beach just south of Palm Beach, and a ten minute drive to many restaurants and shopping (the drive along the ocean to Palm Beach, by the way, is studded with show stopping real estate and is an activity in itself)
At the Palm Beach Four Seasons, my teenage daughter and I were given a lovely large room on the fourth (top) floor which had views overlooking the pool and ocean beyond. Check-in was seamless, valet service friendly, and the concierge helped us find some fun activities and dinner reservations. We had daily breakfast at the hotel, al a carte or buffet ($30) which was expensive, but really lovely on the patio with warm ocean breezes.
Each day we spent time lounging by the pool and on the beach, where the staff was really attentive, and took part in some spa activities, like yoga on the beach and morning strength training in the gym. Then we pedaled up to Palm Beach on complimentary bikes. It was all great; we got completely into vacation mode and didn't want to leave.

Room Tip: At $30 the buffet breakfast is expensive, but by the time you order coffee, juice and eggs, you'...

I had a relaxing four days at this resort. I indulged in my favorite spa treat, the steam room for 3 days. For me it is the best 10 minute body treatment. I even got the chance to do my qigong every morning in front of the ocean and enjoy its breezes. Everyone at this resort, and I do mean everyone, was so welcoming and nice from the bellmen, the pool staff, housekeeping and on to the spa team.

True to the Four Seasons standard, this hotel provides exceptional service! Had the most amazing lemon ricotta pancakes at breakfast about a year ago at this location, and when I went to order them this visit, they were off the menu! Our amazing waitress (Gena) had them specially made for me - what service!!! With exceptional staff - Blake and Stephan at the restaurant are the best - this is the ultimate in a relaxing vacation!

The Four Seasons at West Palm is a beautiful property and the service meets your expectations. They simply eliminate any objections. Very nice gym with a trainer on site and great wet and dry sauna. Pool and beach are both very nice. The real bonus is the property is but a short ride to
and from the airport. Our plane lands and we are in our room within thirty minutes. Very convenient and near perfect.

Room Tip: Ask to face the pool and get a higher room number.

The service level at the Four Seasons is of the franchise's usual high standard, and the property and inside facilities are very nice. The setup at the beach was very nice, and in general the staff was very attentive.

We ate at all the restaurants / bars on the property, and the food and service were consistently outstanding. An indulgence to try, if available, is a cabana dinner by the beach.

The property does lose a star in our view though because, as others have commented, the pool is really not adequate for a facility of this stature. It is small and rather plain - good as a kiddie pool but not much else. The hotel is unfortunately limited by the extent of its property lines, though some of the staff do have some imaginative ideas on how to improve that pool layout if the Four Seasons were to want to invest in upgrading that particular aspect of the property.

Though the property is not by the Poinciana / Worth Avenue are (the Breakers is closer to those), It's an easy drive to anywhere on Palm Beach that you might visit.
