“Best hotel experience ever excellent across the board !”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

My boyfriend and I had dined a cafe Boloud a few months ago and feel in love with the ambience of not only the restaurant but the hotel. We decided this month to stay at the hotel and we only live 20 minutes away but the brazillian court was a perfect get away for us. The valet was excellent and very prompt. The reception area was very trendy and the help was very friendly and informative. We were escorted to our room where they gave us a detailed explanation of all the great amenities we had. The rooms are fantastic!!! Jumping to the end of our stay on our last evening my boyfriend had decided that cafe Boulud would be the perfect place to propse to me! The staff was so kind and really went above and beyond to make this weekend memorable for us. They were all wonderful in accommodating us and as we asked about possibly getting married there they immediately gave us a tour and ideas. This place is great and I recommend it highly! Great service, amazing little hide away to relax at and not overcrowded like alot of the palm beach resorts. Everyone is so friendly the service is great and we love the food at cafe boulud!!!

We stayed at the Brazilian Court for 3 days and 2 nights. The service was excellent from all of the staff that we met during our stay. The hotel was very well maintained. Our studio room was furnished very nicely and included a refrigerator and a separate wine refrigerator. Our bathroom included an excellent whirlpool bath and a separate shower with very good water pressure. The beach and Worth Avenue are both short walks from the hotel. The pool area was clean and quiet with comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of sun and shaded areas. In particular, Daniel one of the valet/bellmen at the property was extremely helpful and provided outstanding service.

The Brazilian court is a jewel, tucked away in a residential area just a couple of blocks from Worth Avenue. We loved everything about the hotel - it is an exceptional place. The lush courtyards are tranquil, and the pool is beautiful with surrounding palms. Our well appointed and meticulously maintained room opened onto a private terrace, just steps from the pool. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. We ate several meals ath Cafe Boulaud i nthe hotel. They were superb. We will be back, without a doubt, every opportunity that we have.

Loved the room and the pool, but half of the front desk team was great while the other half was just rude. It took way too long to get the car. The restaurant staff was amazing.

We stayed at the BC for labor day weekend when Palm Beach is completely dead and the hotel is at very low capacity. We actually prefer it this time of year provided the weather cooperates because it's very relaxing with few people around. The hotel is beautiful -- you truly feel like you are staying at someone's private villa as opposed to a large hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are luxurious, and the place just has an air of understated class about it that is hard to find these days.

However, please note that if you are set on going to the beach, to our surprise we learned that the Hotel's Beach Club is actually 7 miles away from the hotel. The hotel provides free chauffeured car transfers to and from the beach, but you need to make these reservations 24 hours in advance. We were not aware of this and they gladly made us an exception upon arrival to arrange a car to take us to the beach right away. The public beach is just a few blocks away and is completely fine -- it's the same coast/water, but there are more people, no service / chairs. Also, the Beach Club is not really a Beach Club. They take you to the Omphoy Hotel, which is a sister property, where you are entitled to use their beach facilities. Keep in mind it is $15 per person per day to rent a chair on the beach, and $25 for an umbrella. The Omphoy is a completely different hotel concept -- it's trying to be very modern and has an entirely different aesthetic from the BC, which is old-school Palm Beach.

Food at both hotels was very good despite the to-be-expected pricing of Palm Beach. Expect to pay $30 per person for breakfast and lunch at either of the hotels once you include drinks and the automatically tacked-on 18-20% service charges.

The pool at the BC is quite small. As long as it is now crowded it's a really nice place to relax, but I can't imagine what it's like when the hotel is at full capacity. There's maybe 15 lounge chairs at a hotel with 90 rooms...great when there are only 20 guests staying there, but with 100+, not sure.

If you are visiting Palm Beach this is the hotel to stay in. It has a magnificent interior and garden area that is right out of a Humphrey Bogart movie. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the service was just right. In other words they weren't in your face fawning all over you, they just quietly delivered with style. With Worth Avenue within a few blocks the location is perfect. We will return.

Posh boutique hotel w/ amazing restaurant, cozy pool, Fekkai-stylists and dedicated staff in the perfect location (close to shopping and the beach - best of both worlds!).
