Renato's is consistently good. Service is professional yet cordial. Atmosphere is romantic, with enough room between the tables so you are never crowded. One of the things I like the best is that everyone is treated with the same degree of courtesy and deference whether you eat there twice a year or twice a week. When you arrive, you will be shown all tables available and asked if you have a preference. The food is always wonderful, tonight I went very simple: Caesar salad and penne a la vodka. The pasta was properly al dente. My husband had the smoked salmon and the lobster risotto and thoroughly enjoyed both. We were too full for dessert but the bread pudding sure sounded good. The check was $136 for two cocktails, two appetizers and two entrees without gratuity. Renato's offers valet parking, a blessing during the season in PB.
