During our afternoon Shopping trip, this was our oasis. Glasses of wine, appetizer and Shrimp Tacos were just what we needed. We ate at the bar so we could watch the US/Germany world cup match. (tv's are a little small but did the job) Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Taboo is a beautiful, historic restaurant and bar on the elegant Worth Avenue (every high-end brand name resides on this Rodeo Drive east!). The bar has a wonderful happy hour that includes half-price wine and bar bites and pizzas. The Happy Hour is great but unfortunately ends at 6:30 so hurry. For a birthday lunch or romantic dinner, Taboo is the place. And, if you are not counting calories (and you shouldn't on your evening out) order Taboo Lust for dessert. It is Taboo's version of coconut cream pie and it is better than sex!

We were shopping on Worth Ave. on a sunny, hot day, and needed some refreshment, so we went into Taboo for a drink. While sitting at the bar we observed that the people eating lunch around us had some great looking food in front of them. So we made a reservation for dinner that evening. We are so glad we did. My husband had the Bell and Evans roast chicken, and it was moist and very flavorful. I had the local yellow tail snapper with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious. There were several offerings on the menu that sounded good to us. Too many restaurants these days are trying so hard to be trendy, that it's hard to recognize the food offered on their menus. You'll understand the Taboo menu, and enjoy the food that you order.

We had dinner here one evening during our week long stay in Palm Beach. The resto was a short walk from our hotel (the Chesterfield). The food was very good and reasonably priced and the menu had a lot of variety. Our waiter was very professional too! We would eat here again.

Ta-Boo' is located on Worth Avenue and I was told it was overrated, the service was slow but the happy hour was fun. We went last night and the happy hour was fun, the service was not slow....it was well paced and friendly, and our dinner was delicious. We don't normally go to happy hour but we thought we would have a drink and leave however we stayed for dinner. Granted we are in FL just as "off season" begins and it is not crowded but we will go back again.
