Description: Cafe Boulud at the Brazilian Court Hotel – one of Palm Beach’s most coveted dining destinations – has undergone a complete renovation! Experience the all new look and menu this season, just steps from Worth Avenue. The restaurant’s new design is lighter and elegant, achieved with unique touches like a shimmery ceiling made from sea shells and Pecky Cyprus, improved lighting, and warm wood flooring surrounding the glowing bar. The newly expanded bar is dramatically backlit and casts a resplendent glow through the room. It’s a must for cocktails before dinner, with an inventive new cocktail list and craft beers on tap, or enjoy the crowd and scenery; food is served at the bar throughout the day. The newly renovated terrace and private dining rooms are a destination for entertaining in style, whether for a lavish event or to host a memorable wedding day. The menu balances signature Boulud dishes and French favorites inspired by his restaurants around the world, with a spotlight on the region’s incredible seafood and produce. During the high season, jackets are preferred. Shorts and beachwear are not permitted.

Impeccable preparation and dining ambience, Cafe Boulude always is a pleasure. They have both in house and patio dining in the fresh Palm Beach air. I took my mother here For lunch so it was perfect, but if I were looking for a romantic evening with my husband I might go elsewhere unless it was a warm evening under the stars outside.

We miss the fabulous cuisine of Restaurant Daniel since moving to Florida, so we thought we'd try his Cafe in Palm Beach. The setting is lovely. The menu is interesting although we expected to see a little more classic Daniel represented. It was organized into themes (like his cookbooks) but it might have been easier to order from a more traditional menu. Not extensive but good wine list and excellent service the night we dined. The presentation was typical Daniel, detailed and appealing. We had Maine lobster and grilled octopus appetizers - both delicious and well executed. For entrees we enjoyed pompano and snapper, also both delicious. The well thought out cheese plate was the perfect ending with a glass of tawny port. We stayed overnight and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast the next morning. Pricey but it's expected. We plan to go back when we need a fine dining fix.

We went here with friends who raved about this place. It is located in a hotel and is very pretty. We are from New York and have been to Daniell's restaurants there and this just can't hold a candle to any of them. The service is terrible. I thought it was amateurish. The captains would never make it in New York. The food while good doesn't measure up to what we have come to expect when we go to Daniel. About the only thing that was close was the price. There are many fine restaurants with excellent service in Palm Beach where you can have an excellent meal with superior service at these prices. Skip Cafe Boulud and enjoy one of. The other spots.

Second time here and the kitchen has not maintained its excellent standard.Lovely atmosphere, especially outdoor tables in the warm Florida evening. The wait staff is informative and unobtrusive. Generally speaking, the food is beautifully plated and prepared but a tiny bit pretentious. Fresh ingredients are emphasized as procured from a local organic farm. However, it wasn't clear how that boost of freshness enhanced the menu. The chicken was too salty and a bit too moist (undercooked?) My eggplant "side dish" was undercooked and under seasoned. House prepared pasta excellent, but not exciting in flavor or appearance. The menu could use a bit of updating and a double check as plates leave the kitchen. The absolute best part of the meal was the Chocolate Bar for dessert. Not to be missed. However, when dessert is the best part of the meal, what does that say about the overall dining experience?

This restaurant is located in the Brazillian Court Hotel. I have had breakfast here twice and both times it was excellent. This place is ideal for breakfast. Casual, but elegant and quiet. The food was very good..but its only eggs, pancakes and waffles. This is all about presentation and this they do quite well. Everyone was served their entree at the same time. Water was kept full and special requests were honored. My wife and I wanted to take friends from out of town to a nice place for breakfast. Another couple joining us voted against Cafe Boulud because they heard it wasn't very good and lobbied for another place. Well, after breakfast, I asked the couple, "So was this better than your other choice?" They responded, "We must of heard wrong".
