Absolutely worth the visit... First rate experience in a World-class house. Well run museum/home with an enthusiastic docent staff and/or a self-guided audio tour that any DC/NYC museum would be proud of. Do not miss Flagler's personal train car either.

At $16 per person I thought it was maybe a little expensive but we thought the cost of admission was reasonable for the tour. We elected to do the self guided tour but there are walking tour headphones available to rent if you prefer a narrated tour. The house is stunning and hard to imagine it was only a winter home used a few weeks out of each year. Such opplulance for a summer home is beyond most of our imaginations. On site is also Henry Flagglers private rail car, which we found interesting. Definately a must do once tour, IMO

Beautiful grounds, lots of art, history, enjoyed learning of another era. Did not need a reservation ahead.

Beautiful home with a lot of history from the gilded age. We took a guided tour and then went through again with the hand-held recorded tour. Well worth a few hours. Our 8 and 11 year olds enjoyed it as well.

What a gift to spend an afternoon in such an idyllic setting. Our docent was outstanding and did an excellent job of making history come alive for us. The mansion is a true work of art and the mystery surrounding Mary Lily Kenan Flagler Bingham's death is fascinating. This experience has been a catalyst for us to learn more about the Flaglers, Kenans and Binghams. This is an extremely well administered foundation.
