“A daily walk, run or bike for many locals!”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Nice walk along the west side of the island. See boats and West Palm. Watch out for bikers! Occasionally, they sneak up without ringing a bell.

“This is where you see the real Palm Beach”
Reviewed April 9, 2012

The Lake Trail goes for miles. You can get a real feel for the "normal" side of Palm Beach if you walk or ride all the way to the North Pier. Also, there is an old Peruvian Buttress Root Tree just to the south of the Flagler Museum that is a must see. It is the coolest tree with huge roots that you can get lost in. Also, look out for the wild parrots that inhabit the island. If you're quiet, you may catch a glimpse of the fox that lives near the golf course.

“Great break away from very tourist-heavy beaches!”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

My husband and I took a very pleasant walk along this wide, paved "trail." Not at all rustic, it's basically a lovely sidewalk between the backs of the fancy houses, with stunning landscaping, and the intercoastal waterway. We parked (for free) at Flagler House (which was closed, since it was Monday,) and walked to the Society of the Four Arts (which was open.) Easy walking, biking, mobility scooter.
