After a year of looking for a place, any place, that serves steamed blue crabs, Maryland-style, we finally succeeded. Ozzie's in Palm Bay is an hour's drive for us, but it was worth it. Cocktails were excellent (Tara was our server and bartender), hush puppies were sweet and good. And when the tray of fat steamed crabs came out, our mallets and taste buds were more than ready. They were heavy with meat and perfectly cooked/seasoned. We paid top dollar for a number of 'jumbo' size crabs instead of getting all you can eat (AYCE) , which would have been small crabs, both male and female. The manager added some extra crabs to our platter because the jumbos were sized more like larges ( where we come from), so that was a nice surprise.
It's not fancy or roomy or bright inside (we ate upstairs), but we left there stuffed and smiling.
And we will go back.
