staff is better then it had been since the new owners who reopened mid September 2013

food is a cut above the usual local seafood - fried is not the only thing they serve and the outside is wonderful place to sit and enjoy the river, weather and on Fridays starting at 7 a great band

pricing is a bit above most places in Palatka ( not that there are many) but not crazy high - wife and I can split a meal easy so costs are not bad -

worth a try especially if weather is good enough to sit outside

Awesome Sunday brunch - wait staff very attentive and gorgeous view of the St. John's river. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. Very generous portions and gourmet style food. Eggs Benedict were delightful - they also had Cajun turkey chunks and sweet potatoe fries to die for. The French toast was lovely with raspberry sauce and heavy whipping cream - YUMMY. You MUST try this restaurant and see for yourself.

Hamburger was great, Open Face Wahoo taco was fantastic! I could just eat the guacamole! Overall was great, the two hostesses were kinda rude and acted like they didn't wanna be there....

The view is beautiful. Great stop if your on a boat. The service was very poor, very slow and waitress acted like we were a bother. I had the grouper and it was excellent. Pricey, had to pay extra for Caesar salad but it was also good. My husband had a ribeye steak and it was not cooked as requested. He did not get the side he asked for. We had to wait a very long time for dinner and was not going to wait to have redone. There was only a couple other customers there. The artichoke dip was VERY salty, we complained on it and did not receive any type of apology. When leaving we said this place will never last. As a satisfied customer of the Melrose location I'm hoping this location gets things right before its too late. I will return one more time to see if improvement....if there still open. Our tab was $92. which included a couple drinks and it was definately no where worth the price.

We were so excited about trying the new restaurant in town. The decor was great and the view on the river was so relaxing. When it came to the food we were so disappointed. We ordered the artichoke dip, Lobster Bisque, and Fried Shrimp. The dip and soup were served at the same time dinner arrived. Every single items was covered in salt. I am a salt kind of person, but this was way over done. The waitress said many people complain about this, but the chef does not want to change it. We were so disappointed because we were hoping for a great seafood place in town. We wont return unless we start hearing some good reports. It was a bit pricy also. Our bill was $64.00 for 2 people.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I just wanted to let you know that the Blue Water Bay Restaurant is no longer in operations here. My husband and I (owners of property) recently took over operations. We would love to invite you to please give us a try. We have nightly specials including Tuesday and Thursday a low country boil with crawfish, shrimp, crab legs, red potatoes and kielbasa. Monday night is AYCE Crab Legs! We have a fantastic lunch buffet with both a salad bar now and hot items to choose from. We truly appreciate your business and hope to see you soon!
