After several more visits, I would have to say that Wasabi House seems to have gotten the message and our food is now delivered altogether and on time. Bravo to them for listening to their customers. The rest of my original pleasures and concerns remain the same; however, I will add that they do have many inexpensive sushi rolls of a more basic variety (figure $4.00 and under for things like a salmon roll or spicy tuna roll).

To start, you'll walk in and it's a quiet place with the scenery you might expect from a sushi place in a outlet. There is always seating available and you shouldn't have to wait long if any which is nice. However, when seated you get menus that are often different for each person. I swear there are at least six different menus at this place - it'd be nice if they were more consolidated so I could see all that they offer all at once. The selection is enormous but not overwhelming - mostly categorized by the region of origin (Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) and some by entree, appetizer or sushi. It's just a little frustrating having to trade menus back and forth, but I guess kind of a fun little quirk you might only realize if you go more than once or twice and can't seem to find what you had last time.

The atmosphere, as previously stated is pretty typical, with one notable exception - this place is DEFINITELY a "ma and pa" run show- which is great for the food quality, but their toddler is often seen walking/crawling around the place, which can be cute, and other times, like when she climbs up into your table and the owners don't do anything, a little odd. But, hey, I'll take it. Occasionally, the food doesn't come out all at once either which also can be a pain.

With that said, the food is delicious. It really is. The sushi is made fresh in front of your eyes, the fish quality is great, the presentation is impeccable and the rest of the entrees are properly spiced, colored and served in large quantities. Absolutely no complaints about the food. Beware though - the sushi prices definitely add up and can be quite expensive. I bet the place would do better if they had a monday or tuesday night happy hour on sushi.

As far as Pace goes, this place is the best in town by far for sushi.
