What can I say? Traditional old Florida dining on the water with a menu that is prepared to perfection. There was quite a wait but it was worth it. Will be back.

Eaten at CCFH many times over the past years. Both Lunch and dinner.
Some very nice dinners - keep coming back for various snapper preparations with rice and nicely
cooked veges. Alcoholic beverages (all beverages actually) are served in plastic cups - something
to do with insurance no doubt, but can't quite get used to that!
Lunch is a mixed bag. The grouper sandwich is pretty good - although bun has been a bit soggy on ocassion. Ditto fries : sometimes they are fine, other times arrive on the cool and soft side.
Don't get the breaded shrimp or clams. Waayyyyy to much thick breading and often overcooked.
Stick to the grilled or blackened fish fillets and you are less likely to be disappointed.
CCFH will always be there and always be crowded because, lets face it, where else can you
grab food in a friendly outdoorsy atmosphere right off Casey Key?

My husband & I have dined here many times with our 'adopted' doggy Bonnie:) She is probably the main reason why we go here as the restaurant is dog friendly (outdoors) & we like to walk the neighbour afterwards. We have brought a few friends here with & without dogs & they love the relaxed feel of dining outdoors:) The food is average but sitting out in the sun & watching the many birds that frequent the area is very enjoyable. It can get very busy so either grab a drink at the Tiki bar or go early! Sundays tend to be very busy especially if the weather is favourable!
We love to go on Sundays just to unwind & have always had a nice experience:)
Sit back & enjoy the views with a cocktail:)

Visited this restaurant several times during our stay, and were not disappointed on any occasion.
The Casey Key Rum Runner is very good.
Clam Chowder is very tasty. The entrees we particularly enjoyed were Seafood Pasta, Grouper with Black Beans, and Fish,n,Chips.
Service is very efficient and friendly.
Get a table on the sun deck if you can, and enjoy the wildlife while you eat. (Fish and birds, not fellow diners!)

We went there for lunch and got a nice table outside...I had the grouper sandwich which was OK...For me this place was nothing special. Not saying it was bad just nothing special. As I said it was for lunch and it was midweek. Maybe weekend nights have some more punch.
