“Watch out Friday night”
Reviewed October 2, 2011

Upon arrival, the bed linens were dirty so we stripped the beds and requested housekeeping replace the bed linen. During my stay, I noticed a large dog swimming in the pool, ladies of the evening making daily visits, and a constant issues with parking.
Hey guys it's simple, just mark the D....parking spaces!
Besides that my last day of three was met with customers slamming doors at 1:00 am in the morning, friday night parties, and a possible drug deal gone bad. The police pulled in as I pulled out at 2:00 am.
Never again!!!!!!!

On August 12, Friday , We Arrive at this DAYS INN 1608 N US HWY 1 ORMOND BEACH FL., BETWEEN 9-10 PM. The Desk Clerk(HE) seem to be nice. he got our key to our room ETC. we went down to our room, .and the rug did not look vacumn. My wife was checking the sheets and notice they were dirty with sand in the bed and the other bed had had hair on the sheets in bed #2. I went down to tell him he was gone and there was a girl there.I told her and she said she would be down to change the sheets. (ABOUT 10 MIN. LATER) she came in to the room and started to change the beds. I ask he about there houseieeping and how is it they could not see this? she said,"when they had high winds sand must have blow on the sheets." my wife ask her what was HER excuse about the HAIRS on the other bed sheets and the pillows cases not being changed. I know a lot of places our trying to cut back on water and all but to every one out there that reads this check your sheets. for anything and everything.

The beds look like they were never change they pull the sheets up and threw the comforter back on top. She never commented on my wifes question on the hairs, she just hurry to get out which we help her so she would get out. After she finally left I looke in the dresser drawer and found sand (not a whole lot but enough to know this hotel had very poor, housekeeping. The next morning I took the drawers down to to front desk and the girl that change ourt sheets was at the front desk I showed her the drawer and her comment was"someone must have put sand in them" I told her the hotel was a sad case. She never apogize for the inconvience,we went throught or here is a discount of our money, but she did expect me to take the drawer back to the room. We check out. and left. with the drawer and the sand on the front desk. This hotel being own by the Wynham group to my understanding needs to do some un-known checking of some of these hotels they own. And truthfully I'm sure they do .Wynham is a very high and repected name in the hotel and resort industry and for this Days inn to be as dirty and unclean as they were they must not know who the Wynham Grp. are. Clear out the lazy housekeeping and I'm sure everyone there is not like that. The bathroom thank God was clean. We have stayed at many Days Inn before and some were a little tacky but none like this.and for the girl to tell us sand blew in on thoughs sheets and hair on the other bed, and sand in the drawers. Someone in housekeeping must have had one long beach break and forgot to change the sheets. when they return. The little girl, if you don't know the truth to the question don't try to blow smoke over peoples eyes and lie. (PS; THIS WAS A PRICELINE CHOICE) AND PRICELINE IS NOT , IS NOT, TO BE BLAME ON THIS CHOICE. BUT DO A UN-AWARE INSPECTION ON SOME OF YOUR HOTELS. WE STILL RECOMMEND PRICELINE.And Days inn, this was just one of the bad ones we got stuck with.

This was a last minute choice and we figured we couldn't go wrong with a days inn. The price was a little more than we wanted but we needed a hotel at that moment. The rooms were clean and updated. Our only complaints would be that we couldn't seem to find a restaurant to eat at that was pretty close to the hotel. We had to drive around a while just to find an Applebee's. Also the breakfast was only until 9am. After a long day we had decided to sleep in and didn't get down there until 9:30 and everything was gone.

To make it short and to make sure no one stays here, there are barf stains on the beds, the beds are VERY itchy (no bugs, thrugh), the sink had tons of cigarette burns, tons of holes in the walls, and not so great service. Cheap, but gross!
