Visited for dinner, half the main dining area was dark (yes, lights OUT) which was a little disappointing since it is a very pretty place. No music, nothing. Only 4 grill tables were in use, we didn't receive our drinks for over 20 min. Chef was good, but seemed very quiet for this type of dining. Had the filet & chicken, which was great. Cooked well & very tasty. This was a birthday dinner so I wanted it to be special, but instead it was just kind of blah. Have been here before a few yrs ago & had a much better experience. I was a little disappointed, especially for the price. I know I'm paying for food, but I want (& expect) a little ambiance too. Don't go out of your way to go here, save your money and go somewhere fun.

Great place if you have plenty of money to throw around. I would defiantly enjoy something like this more often if the price were better, but with children the cost of $10+ a plate is much too high and they don't offer early bird specials like most Japanese style. The food was very good though...VERY!!

Not only expensive but very small portions. Go for the scene not the sushi and dont expext to eat together with your party . Your food comes out at diffrent times, service is not consistent, Hot saki is never the right temp. owner is cheap during summer months as A.C. is often off. If you want great sushi at half the price drive 1/2 mile down the road to Fancy Sushi. AMAZING

We are locals, we used to love this place prior to it's move to the current location. We dine there frequently (even in the new location), but have had enough bad experiences now, it is off our list of regular places. We had the mussel's appetizer on Wednesday, February 13 and not only was it horrible, nothing like what we have recieved previously, it was the worst rip-off EVER. 6 tiny mussels for $12.95! Should be false advertising, the menu (and yes, we asked and double asked the waitress about the variance from prior experiences) states it is mussels in a curry based broth. FALSE! 6 tiny mussels (that were chopped, not whole) with something that tasted like the volcano roll topping on them. No broth, very fishy tasting and again 6 small mussels for $12.95. Our normal sushi order was just "ok", the service has declined substantially and the food has become inconsistent. Save your money!

The food was good, portion sizes were small for a habachi restaurant and the service was horrible. The guy who was the "host" told us it would be a 15 minute wait never asked to seat us after we saw two parties walk in after us sit right away- when we asked if our table was ready his breath smelled of strong alcohol and he apologized for forgetting about us- the funny thing was it wasn't busy it was Sunday night 730 and we were sitting next to him at the bar!! Lol!!

The service went down from there- thank God the chef was good. We love habachi this place is definetly not in our top 10. We will try another place if we are back to this area
