I was so pleased to find this restaurant with authentic New England seafood dishes. Service was excellent as well. Will return many times.

Don't expect anything fancy,it's a cafe'. Wonderful all you can eat fish n chips for lunch. Huge portions. Haddock was nice, light and crispy. Onion rings were awesome. Lot's of locals eat there, that ought to mean something good.

Just had to review this place again! Coming home to Indiana from Miami, we just had to pull off of I-95 at the Ormond Beach exit to check out Betty's A1A. This was our 3rd stop here and it just keeps getting better. As I said in my other review, don't be deterred by the building-the prize is what's inside. I had the baked shrimp and scampi in a salsa and it was fabulous. There were 5 other people with me and no one had anything but praise for the food. If you're in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area, and like seafood, you absolutely have to stop here.

Love the Onion Rings and the Liver and Onions.I drive over an hour for both. Came once with high school gal pals and back again with nursing school buddy. Awesomely good simple homey food.

I don't now what denise c was taling about when she wrote her review, but dinner was great. Nothing wrong with an older crowd they were once young. We enjoyed the firecracker shrimp which originated at Betty's and seems to be copied by Alfie's and it was amazing. The fish was great and the staff was friendly and informative. nothing like the homemade desserts and believe me i was far from bored, or lonely. By the way been to Alfie's can't compare the two, i would prefer to have a champagne dining experience at Betty's than a beer bash at Alfie's Can't overloo the mentioning of the cleanliness of the rest rooms or the entire cafe. Exceptional experience.
