Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen but good ones are quite rare. This one may not win an culinary awards but its much better than most of them. Family run, the food is plentiful and tasty and comes at a good price. Service was good, if not somewhat frenetic. The hostess was doing double duty as waitress when I was there. The best thing about the food is that it is actually season, a rarity these days. Too many Mexican places keep it bland to please the lowest common denominator. Nothing outrageously not or anything, although the salsa that came with the chips at a bit more bite than usual. Avoid the house maragritas though. Typical Kool-Aid mix. Stick to the beer. There are lots of choices on tap but no craft beers.
