This is a well-hyped self-guided tour through majestic oaks a d salt marshes. Be sure to get out of the vehicle or off the bike to actually explore the area. The development in the surroundings detracts from the natural beauty.

My husband and I enjoy bike rides on this incredibly scenic route through tropical heavens. The city recently put a bike/walking trail down Beach Street through the State Park and ending at the entrance of Tamoka State Park. This is a curvy, mostly shaded, paved pathway through old Florida. Definitely an experience all should enjoy!

I love riding my bike through the Loop but some areas are dangerous from cars driving too close to me. Would love a bike lane. Love the nature all around you. No more houses please

and although it's faster to drive into town via the highway, we prefer driving the gorgeous Loop for a sight and a touch of Old Florida! Even when the bikers are in town, the Loop is an enjoyable and scenic route! there are clearly marked places to stop and take fotos, use a restroom or just to sit and rest -

I drive it every day and never get tired of the drive..I live in Halifax Plantation During Bikeweek, It is a must do for the Motorcycle riders.. Absolutely a beautiful drive.. Can even stop in Tomoka State Park during the ride.. Beautiful Homes and forrest scenery along the ride.. Play golf at Halifax Plantation if you like.. The loop which brings you from the river side to the ocean side gioves you all types of different looks.. Be sure to have a camera with you..
