we have been to daytona beach many, many times and for the first time, we noticed "the casements". this is the old rockefeller mansion and it is a beauty. i think we noticed it this time because it was alll dressed up for christmas and was beatiful.

you can visit the mansion and also arrange for parties, weddings, etc. on site. this would be a beautiful site for any type of occasion.

i recommend spending some time taking a look at this wonderful home.

Interesting to see the Rockefeller winter home. The home is well preserved and still in use for events. Nice lawn on the halifax river. Could not find the advertised Hungarian costume exhibit - I think it was moved for the Christmas trees on display. Takes about 20-30 minutes to get through. Great place to stop and use the restroom - very clean.

Being in Daytona Beach for a week we looked for things to do. We visited The Casements and took a tour. The guide was informative and seemed very knowledgeable. The guide is a volunteer and the tour was free. The house is filled with many nice pieces of furniture and pictures. The view from the 2nd floor is magnificent! Go check it out, you will enjoy it!

For those of us who live nearby, there are many fun events that take place at the Casements and I attend as many as possible. For visitors, the volunteers at the Casements conduct free tours that are reallybinteresting. The Casements is a worthwhile stop for visitors, and a blessing for us locals.

The former summer vacation home of John D Rockefeller. The house is now a museum open to the public.. Located on the Halifax River, one can only imagine what it was like years ago.. The grounds surrounding the Casement are used all year long by different organizations.. A must visit if you are in the Ormond Beach Area..
