“A few minutes of culture in Ormond”

The museum is a nice spot to take a few minutes and see some new works of art. They also hosted an art camp this summer for school aged children.

“Great museum with good exhibits & wonderful gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2012

We go at least once a year in the winter every year whilst escaping the cold wet London weather.

Great museum with good exhibits - do stop and visit the Museum Gardens! The walking paths are easy but the collection of bamboo and other exotic plants is wonderful - the turtle pond is magic and the waterfall very therapeutic – just go & take a book or snooze in the quiet breeze.

“A beautiful spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

This is a very pretty spot for just walking through the hammock. It is a grotto and a lovely oasis for even a summer walk. The art museum has nice functions, but the park is open until sundown, then walk across the street and go to Billy's restaurant. Superb.

“If you're looking for beauty near the Beach, hit the OB Museum & Gardens!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2012

We stopped in the last day of a lovely Textile exhibit - what a great display of color and texture. They don't have an exhibit all the time but when they do, it's going to be worth a visit. They have a nice Speed exhibit coming up to commemorate the history of the area. But do stop and visit the Museum Gardens! The walking paths are easy but the collection of bamboo and other exotics is genuine and top notch - and the turtle pond is great for kids of all ages to watch. A great place to stroll out of the sun and into shade - and sit to read or snooze in the quiet breeze, especially next to the sweet waterfall. Don't miss this little gem!
