“Unique Food”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

We went for lunch this weekend and the food was wonderful. We had a problem that although the website said they opened at one the front doors were locked. Fortunately a friend had entered from the back, went through the restaurant to shout through the door to go around to back. We mentioned this to the manager and he said they were planning on putting up a new sign and opening at 11:30. Hopefully that will be done by the time you try it out. I was lucky enough to get a parking spot on the street because finding out where to park was not mentioned on the website either. They might want to put that you can get to the parking spaces by the driveway to the east of Rose Villa or whatever the new name will be. They told us they were just reopen in under the name The Grind and had to iron out some kinks. When they do this will be even more wonderful! We ate outside in the tiki area and it has lively music and fun decor. Everyone enjoyed their different meals and the tastes were unique!

Thank you so much for the feedback! When people first visit our establishment we know it can be a bit confusing either coming in the front or back. We definitely make sure now to have all doors open. Thank you for that feedback and thank you for posting about our lunch! It's one of the best kept secrets in Ormond Beach. Until next time...

“Excellent!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

I have been here several times since it's been under new management and what a difference. Service is excellent and so is the menu. On previous visits we sat inside, but this time we sat outside at the tiki portion of the restaurant. They really did a great job on the remodeling, large covered seating area, lots of large screen tv's and live entertainment. They have a great wine selection and some really interesting items on the menu (lobster flat bread!). Highly recommend this place - inside for a quieter dinner and outside if you want a livelier atmosphere.
