If you want to see what the real Florida was, not the concrete jungle that is known as Florida, take a drive through the park and surroundings. You will see what the Spanish Conquistadors saw. Beauty in nature.

Fun, wildlife and great atmosphere. This is one of our favorite places to go. So beautiful and relaxing. Price is reasonable. Close to the Loop.

We camped with 7 families a few weeks ago at Tomoka and had an absolute blast! Early February. The weather was beautiful, little or no bugs. The canoe trip on the river was great! I'd recommend doing this first thing in the morning. Very calm and peaceful, later in the day, weather changes, gets hotter and becomes more challenging. (It's an easy canoe trip overall) The campground was beautiful, very untouched, wooded and private and sites. The Ranger program for the kids was awesome! Best reptile show I've seen in a long time!

There were so many mosquitoes, we had to run to the car for protection and could not walk around the park to look at the scenery.

A pleasure to visit and camping! The river views are just beautiful; we went canoeing and had a great time; didn't see any manatees or dolphins. We did not had the chance to do the park trails. Campsites are a little small but are surrounded by bushes and vegetation giving you some privacy. Great! Bathrooms are very well kept and clean. The location of the park gives the opportunity to visit nearby attractions like Ormond Beach, Flagger Beach, Daytona Beach and Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. We would like to come back!
