We stopped here with friends for lunch. As soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be a good experience. We were seated promptly, drink orders were take and menus given to us.

What a great selection of food. I zeroed in on the "deli" type offerings. Boy, Reuben, Pastrami, corned beef, hmm, Stacked Beef Brisket won out only because I have not had it in a while. It came au jus on a roll with onions, cheese and a side of coleslaw. Good, lean meat and sandwich was overloaded just like you would expect in a deli.

My wife ordered liverwurst and onion on rye. Super fresh and super thick. (She took half of it home!) Again, just like you would expect in a NY Deli.

Our friends had soup and half sandwich and a pot roast dinner that was enough to feed two people. Served piping hot with plenty of roasted potatoes and carrots. Just like mom makes! Again half was boxed up for another meal.

A nice addition is the pickle bar which has, you guessed it various pickles as well as green tomatoes, hot peppers, pasta salad. Great deli favorites!

We left with a mixed box of bakery cookies. Great assortment of cookies, cakes and other sweet things that we should not add to our diets. Everything looked yummy.

Staff was super friendly and busy. I would stop here again just to explore other things on the menu. Great find!

I have had lunch here but never knew they had a wedding/reception hall adjacent to the restaurant. There is an outside garden that is perfect for pictures and in our case the wedding ceremony. A few short steps and we were inside a an elegant ballroom. Dinner was served as a buffet with Chicken Marsala, Beef tenderloins, red bliss potatoes, fresh green beans and salad. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and plentiful. Many went back multiple times. The bar & wait staff were attentive throughout the evening. The dance floor was large enough for lots of dance activity and the acoustics for music were great. All around excellent venue.

Sandwich lunches for two with soft drinks and tip $25. A little pricey but plenty of food. Pickle bar is a nice touch to spice up the fare. Food is OK.

Have been to this restaurant before but not for a very long time. They give pretty hefty portions and food is good. I will say that I think the place is looking a little dirty. The grout on the tile floor is pretty gross and the display cases where the desserts need to be cleaned. In spite of that the giant sized éclair was very fresh and delish !

I am so glad we listened to Trip advisor, and that we started out our vacation with DB Pickles!!. We had to write this review right away instead of waiting until we got home. These folks are the most friendly and professional! The food was excellent, and the free pickle bar was really fantastic.

The pickle bar had lots of different pickles (cucumbers, peppers, beets, tomatoes), pasta salad, and really great three bean salad -- all you care to eat free! Ashley took care of us. She was wonderfully friendly and very helpful with menu choices. She made this experience a real pleasure. At the end of our meal she surprised us with a gigantic, homemade Éclair. This was the perfect end to a lovely meal and we will be going back at least twice more this trip. This restaurant is worth an 11/2 hour drive just to eat, never mind vacation!
