This is one of my favorite spots in Ormond. The small dining area feels like you're sitting in a friend's house, with ample natural lighting and comfortable seating. I've only been here on weekend mornings, but I think it's the best breakfast spot in Ormond Beach. The omelets are outstanding. It's a great place to meet friends or bring your family!

We enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Bistro while visiting friends at Ormond Beach. What a lovely, funky little spot in Ormond Beach proper (beachy, but not on the beach). I ordered the California Omelet: sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, and spinach--but not the stringy, wilted spinach you usually get. This omelet contained whole, fresh baby spinach leaves! Others in the party ordered the Greek Omelet special, Chicken Salad over Mixed Greens, and French Toast. No complaints. Will definitely visit the Bistro again the next time we're in the area.

Had to go back and see if could really be as good as it was the first time. It was.
La's Bistro is like going to a long time best friends' home. Just walk in the front or back door of this comfortable 1924 Sears Robuck bungalow, find a table and make yourself at home. Someone will be there immediately to greet you and offer beverages.
The menu is unique but not in a weird way. I would describe it as comfort food but with variations and choices you don't normally see on a menu.
Panini french toast, cake like pancakes the size of the plate, and a long list of omlette options with plenty of fresh veggies and cheeses to add in.
The portions are huge. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion size. The service is first rate, and everyone is friendly.
You'll feel at home at La's.

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Parking in the rear can be a pain but it's worth it. We both started with black bean and bacon soup. It was so freaking delicious! My mother had the turkey burger and I had a sandwich with turkey and Brie. It was all fantastic. I love taking my mom here when I come visit. Definitely try it out!
