Very accommodating and good value. In town for business/court date. Comfortable, quiet and clean and Florida resident price was awesome. If there for vacation it is very conveniently located to lots of attractions, activities and restaurants.

We stayed for ten nights at this hotel and found it to be perfectly suited to our needs. It is at bus stop 15 on the Iride which means is very central. It is surrounded by souvenir shops and many restaurants and at either end of International Drive there are Premium Outlets. We walked to the International Drive outlets but got the Iride to the Vineland outlets as they were a distance away.

The hotel was clean and I felt safe there (while my husband golfed) for the two mornings I lay out at the pool. Security staff were in evidence but unobtrusive. We were in Block 3000 and on the ground floor facing the pool. We had asked for a quiet room and this was away from the traffic noise on International Drive. The room was basic, a bit dark but clean and cleaners came every day. There were plenty of towels and hot water and the shower was nice and powerful. There was a hotel hairdryer. The television was modern but we only really used it for the weather forecast. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hanging/storage space (for two people anyway). We did turn off the air conditioning during the day while we were out so as to conserve electricity. Turning it on when we came in meant the room was cool in no time in what was unseasonably warm weather-lucky us!

We ate at the restaurant almost every morning and were amazed by the variety of food. Food was warm on every occasion but one. The staff were friendly and helpful and got to know what you liked after two days (coffee after the food!) so a big hello to Yuri, Mandy, Norma and Jeanette.

The reception staff were more aloof.

There is a shop beside reception which has snacks and basic needs such as beverages, milk, water, suncream etc which was handy as we were able to make tea using the coffee maker in the room. There is a fridge. Paper cups were supplied. No spoons though so bring one if you need to measure out coffee.

The bar was nice for a couple of drinks and we were lucky enough to be entertained by the fantastic solo singer, Sonny Ferguson. We happened on him on the Monday night and came back for his Wednesday night set as he was so good- so catch him if you get a chance.

Two minor criticisms- the internet was absolutely woeful and the hotel room was quite dark.
This seems to be a trend in hotels- no central lighting, just lamps which means it is quite difficult to see to be able to put make-up on properly.

We didn't go to the theme parks but I would think that if you were a family with children and doing this the hotel would be a good base. The pools are small but pool towels are provided for no charge. There were plenty sun loungers available as it was a quiet time of the year.

I would recommend a car as it saves a lot of hanging around and waiting. Getting the Iride from stop 1 to 42 (outlets at both ends) took about 50 mins but is much cheaper and more interesting than a taxi. However, we would only do this once. International Drive is about 14 miles long. We hired a car at the airport and also a Sat Nav and we prepaid the tolls. This meant driving was relatively easy for us, as European drivers. We couldn't believe how cheap fuel was. There was plenty of parking at the hotel, we were given an identification badge for the car to show we were residents.

Regarding restaurants I would recommend Joe's Crab shack at stop 18. Another fantastic place is The Cheesecake Factory at the Mall at Millenia. It's not just cheesecake.

Overall, we were very please with the Quality Inn, International Drive and would recommend it.

We decide to choose this hotel after looking at Hotels after Hotels. Changing our minds several times as originally we wanted to stay in Kissimee. Then got good advice off a travel rep to stay at the heart of it all on International Drive. We did as always check reviews before booking and they were more or less correct in what each of them say about the Hotel and Location.
The hotel itself is slap bang in the middle of International Drive, with lots of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance from the hotel. Look on google maps "Street view" to see what's around - great tip!!
Cici's across the road is a great place for all you can eat pizza and pasta for $5.99 per person = Bargain!
We used this Hotel as a base only, as we had booked this holiday around seeing all Disney & Universal Parks. Which we achieved within 7 days, so we did not see much of the Hotel pool.
The breakfast in the morning is all you can eat, which is good to start the day. BUT; the only thing I dis-liked about it was, the food is prepared ready waiting for you. The bacon and sausage is cold on top unless you dig to the bottom for the warm bits. The toast is also prepared 'toasted" ready for you - under no heat lamp. So you will be lucky to find a hot piece at most times.... But I did see the chef bring out "hot pizzas" for breakfast on the last day of our stay - they flew of the buffet.
We also had a car to travel to theme parks, which was a great!! No waiting for transport or shuttles. Well worth the experience. Also no problems with parking at the hotel - plenty of room.
Room experience was good - they cleaned our room everyday!! Which we was not expecting after reading some reviews.
The air-conditioning works wonders in the room. Which is on the floor in front of the bay window. It goes very cold if needed and can be left on during the day. Unless the cleaner switches it off??? Which she/he did twice!!
Overall experience - Loved the trip to Florida.
I would defiantly come back to this hotel again - Many thanks!!!

I've stayed at the Quality Inn International Drive several times, besides that is near all the Disney attractions and different malls, the rooms are comfortable and give you the sensation that you're not at an hotel. They have a super comfortable beds!, everything you need to have a nice stay and the morning buffet its delicious! It's secure and the people is nice with you.

Room Tip: The Rooms in the 4th floor with the pool view, has a wonderful view at night! ;)

Hotel room was basic but perfect for what we needed due to busy days at theme parks. Ironing board broke on first day and never got fixed. Coffee maker was great and managed to make tea using it. T.V was great. Location of hotel was bril! Very close to Universal, there was a free shuttle there and also to Sea World. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby, very close to ihop. I ride bus stop just outside which was handy to get to all the other restaurants and bars.

I stayed here towards the end of 2011 and having stayed on International Drive a few times I can say that the location of this hotel is definitely one of its strong points.

The onsite restaurant is adequate but if it fails to impress then you are only a 2 minute walk away from one McDonalds or Denny's.

You have an i-Ride stop situated on I-Drive right outside the Inn. with regular service running up and down i-Ride until around 11pm at night meaning you do not have a need to hire a car in my opinion.

The room was very clean and with the standard 2 double bed layout, TV, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space to unpack your stuff.
Staff were helpful and accomodating and the rooms were cleaned daily and not too early so we were always out when they came round.

The onsite store meets all your essential needs and is not too pricey. For your more specialised items you can hop on the i-Ride up to Walgreens opposite Wet n Wild or if your like me and like a stroll it will take you around 15 minutes to walk to.

We didnt use the transport to the parks apart from to get to Busch Gardens. It was an easy and hassle free way of getting to the park. You meet the coach outside of the Red Lobster which is situated about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The coach picks up and drops off at this point and although not right outside the hotel it is not a hassle to get too and from.

The hotel grounds were always clean and presentable and the pool area was always well maintained. I wouldnt recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys a good stretch at the pool as it is quite small and not really well placed for relaxing. I would recommend this hotel more for people who are using it for the location and who aim to spend most of their time out and about in Orlando rather than for those who like to spend a great deal at your hotel as I think you might want to go for something maybe a bit more upmarket.

As for childrens activities I dont have any children myself so cant comment too much but I didnt see a lot of things for kids to do there apart from the pool so probably wouldnt rate this as a particularly good place to take children if you are looking for somewhere that has a wide range of activities or things to do for your kids but then it is Orlando so what the hotel lacks the surrounding areas make up for and with a crazy golf site just next door your never a million miles away from somewhere to take them.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and am currently planning my next trip to International Drive and can safely say this hotel is up at the top of my list of places to stay again.

Room Tip: Try to aim for around the front of the hotel that faces out towards international drive if you want...
